    If the players are going to sit in the stands. They should do it WWE style where they all get miced up.

    Borucki should still start. If he pitches out of the pen this year fine. But I don’t think the starting option should be ruled out going forward.

    I mean its really weird to see Fenway empty but once we get to Tampa it feel normal. I wonder if they will pipe in that heckler. Just play the old Hinske and Rios audio.

    He was starting to pitch well so they had to take him out.

    Could be. He threw 98 on the second or third pitch of the game. Maybe he just didn’t have confidence in his command today and is focusing on trying to keep the ball in the zone.

    I’m sure once Nate is built up we will see closer the velocity we were expecting. I don’t think anyone was expecting him to be sitting 94-96 tho. Not that its bad or anything but when you’re hearing high 90’s deep into games in the mjnor leagues and regularly touching 100 or more during starts there is a lot of expectations.

    Sitting 94-95 so far. Has hit 98 once and 96 a couple times.

    Blessing in disguise if he has a rough start. Makes the decision to keep him down easy : )

    He looks worse than last year which is disappointing because in Spring he was looking much better. When you can visibly see someones belly fat that’s a really bad sign.

    Yup if he doesn’t get himself in shape eventually I would be terrified to lock him up even at just age 27 or 28 because his body will fall apart in his early 30’s. I’m still holding out hope he can do. Josh Naylor was a fatty and now he looks great. Just takes discipline and an effort. Lets hope he cares. If I was him I would take the position change as motivation.
