    Someone needs to get the Blue Jays a new computer. This one is broken.

    Pitchers have no problem throwing Jansen Fastballs regardless of where he is in the lineup. And the whole theory of getting players better pitches to hit only works if the guys in front of him actually get on base. Something Biggio is excellent at and Lordes is not. Even in the bizarre scenario that a major league manager wants to have Jansen hitting third Biggio should still be hitting leadoff or atleast second.

    OP had me thinking Montoyo decided to not have a RF today in response to the backlash of his Biggio hitting 8th decision.

    Biggio .467 on base percentage against lefties this season and his 5-12 career line made me feel pretty confident he could battle against Yarbrough.

    Your dream of Borucki starting might happen. The pitching equivalent of this move is using Borucki as an opener and Ryu as the bulk guy.

    Players will move. Teams aren’t just going to let guys walk. The asking prices are going to be low so this is perfect time for value. This might be an excellent time to trade a guy that you have little faith in becoming a regular in MLB but has options and years of control for a piece that can help you now. A guy like Billy McKinney in this scenario might actually have some value because of his control.

    The only logical explanation is Biggio plowed Montoyo’s wife. I honestly can’t think of anything else that makes sense. That’s where we are at.

    When I initially read the pop up on my phone it was oh Biggio just got the day off and then I saw Jansen hitting third and it just kept getting worse. I’m now not even mad just depressed: (
