I would view the Giants and Mets as the biggest threats especially if the Mets don’t bring back Alonzo. Giants always have money and are looking to make a splash but I think they will be heavier on the Japanese market. Braves and Tigers don’t like to overspend and the Tigers have been burnt in recent years and completely balked on Bregman despite being linked to them all winter. Plus from Bo’s perspective I would want to know Skubal’s future before committing there. Braves letting Feeeman and Swanson walk to give Bo a bag would be an odd choice. It would not shock me if the Dodgers went after Bo. I just don’t think that would be a good look for Bo. It would be one the weakest moves in sports. When Snell did it he got a lot of s*** and they were four years removed from that World Series. Joining the team you just lost to would be in Kevin Durant territory.

I don't see any reason to take Vladdy off of First Base now. Bring back Bo and let them play 1B and 2B for the next decade.

I really don't think that gets it done. If you view him as a top of the rotation arm with 2 years of control would you make that trade if you are the Marlins? You're looking more at Nimmala + King + potentially a lottery ticket. And if you get into that category of prospects wouldn't you rather go after Skubal if 2026 is the primary goal to have a much better Jays team?

He’s solid. Would prefer to aim higher. Plus one requires giving up assets for. You can sign Cease or another top end starter just for money. The Marlins have control of him for 2 more years. It’s going to be quite the return they would want.

I think we all feel Bo will be a pretty good Second Baseman. He has good hands and he will make all those throws with ease. He no longer has to worry about anything deep in the hole or ranging far to his left. It will also result in much less ware and tear on the body which could make him an even better hitter. He's never been a butcher in the field. He's just not rangy or overly athletic which makes him not that suited to play Shortstop but he will make all the play hit at him. They were still a very good defensive team with him in the Lineup now they can be an even better one.

Swingman are incredibly valuable. They mostly just end up in the Rotation because of injuries naturally but going into the year knowing you have a guy you can use in multiple roles including starting is invaluable. I feel bad for Lauer sometimes but he really is best utilized in this role. He would start on many teams though. Putting a Cease or Amai at the top of your rotation is just too hard to pass up on. Skubal feels more like a dream. Red Sox seem like the team to give into the Tigers demands. I would think the Dodgers would just wait until his Feee Agency.

The Atkins presser didn’t really seem like Bo Bichette is any kind of priority. No we really want him back. No he’s a huge part of this moving forward. The best we got is “We will be in his market”.

Makes sense. His role has diminished greatly after the past 2 Seasons. He even did an interview during the playoff run where the interviewer asked him what he did. And Don Mattingly literally said not much lol.

Not going to happen so I'm not worried about it at all. Would honestly prefer Lukes plays over him. Get him off my team.

Valdez is probably going to get Fried money if not more. I still personally would like to go after Cease and or Amai.

Santander should be shipped out with money for whoever will take him. He has a lot of deferred money anyway. Just eat it and make the team better. I don’t want to see him play the OF and do nothing of value for a few more Homeruns. And thats if he actually manages to stay healthy.

Never even considered Bieber returning as a real possibility atleast not at a sweetheart price. It really does change everything. It allows the Jays to really push for another top end Starter. Gotta get Bo done and free agency will truly start when Amai gets posted its also possible he won’t. But a lot of teams will want to know all of their options.

Well he's likely going to repeat A Ball and has fallen on a lot of prospect charts. But sure he can rebound and get himself to New Hampshire by mid Season with a strong start.

Honestly Spanky until about 20 minutes ago I would have agreed to you. I felt he would opt out and looked for a long term deal. But would have settled for a one year deal between $22-25m with player options for more.

Considering we got Max last off-season for $15,5 to be the 5th starter. It's crazy to get Shane Bieber for 500k more the next off-season.

Retaining Bieber is massive. I honestly didn't think he was going to opt in. I am kinda shocked. It would take quite a bit of money to be eaten to move on from Berrios. We also don't know how healthy he is. Or is current relationship with the team. A lot of bad body language after the Bullpen move. And he wasn't around for the end of the Championship run despite being in the dugout earlier in the playoffs. But yes we need to target a top of the rotation arm first and foremost. Whether thats chasing Amai or going after a Cease which I would love.
