    This was my fear of Bassit when we signed him. He's known for getting his s*** kicked in. In big games. He was awful tonight. Flat out embarrassing. Disgraceful performance.

    Blue Jays just need to go 10-9 to win 90 games. That's pretty conservative. However if they lose that series to the Rangers the season is most likely over. Losing 3/4 it would require either Seattle or Houston to also falter during that strech but it seems unlikely. Splitting with Texas at the minimum is paramount. Winning that series pretty much ends their season as well. That 2 game swing would just be extremely tough to make up. Sweeping either way ends the other teams Season for sure.

    Gonna be honest with you. I didn't think we would pass Seattle again this Season. But give the Jays credit they are winning games they need to win. Works not done but things are looking a whole lot better right now. I think in a perfect world we finish wild card 3 but sitting here feels good.

    I would be fine if they moved on from Varsho but I also think he can be the 4th OF. LF needs to be addressed offensively for sure. But Kiermaier seems to love it here. I think everyone loves having him here. He's probably not going to play 140+ games anymore at his age so having a capable 4th OF just works. It really depends how things work out but retaining Kiermaier should absolutely be something they do. I just have no idea what Varsho's value would even be at this point even with his control. He has had an absolute train wreck offensive season.

    I can't believe the f***ing Orioles are going to win 100 games this year and the best has yet to come for them.

    Don't look now but Mitch White hasn't been complete dog s*** in AAA recently. 7 innings of 1 run ball tonight struck 7 and walked 2. Only allowed 2 hits as well.

    Huge win. Gonna be tough tomorrow. But a sweep is very important tomorrow. Schedule gets tough after that. And the Texas Ranger series is basically a playoff series.

    I don't mind them being cautious with Bo we need him down the strech. Yes having today would be nice. But that 4 game series against Texas is massive. And the rest of the Season is against the AL East so bigger games are coming.

    In fairness the bullpen is constantly faltering tonight. You can only wait so long. The smart way of doing things would have been letting the Rotation pitch deeper into games earlier in the Season so you can use the bullpen more freely down the strech. But the Jays have been managing their bullpen like its October since April.

    Whoever is telling them to challenge this s*** needs to be punted to the moon. Vladdy is one of the worst defensive First Baseman in the history of Baseball. His opinion is not valid on any close play.
