  1. Looking like a good effort, too bad it was stopped. Thanks for posting!
  2. What was his final line?
  3. I'll say this, Moreno looks like one. And Martin is heating up after starting out real slow. The guy is starting his career in AA as well btw. Torkelson is in A+.
  4. You're correct mostly. The studio replay on the HRs showed that all of them hit the spot Reese was setup for. The only question is whether Reese called those pitchers or Manoah shook to them. Additionally, Manoah was more wild today than last start and his velo was down to the low 90s from the mid-90s last night.
  5. Whoever said that Manoah hit his spots on all the HRs was correct. Bad game calling.
  6. Unbelievable.... These Umps are just brutal.. Instead of 2 on with Semien up we're out of the inning.
  7. Is Alek shaking any off before throwing the pitched that were hammered?
  8. Both HRs on hanging sliders. He'll learn. Not worried. Still looks great!
  9. Shapiro/Atkins not firing him after the sample dating back to the beginning of the 2020 season has now shifted the blame onto them imo.
  10. I wonder what's wrong with him? Velocity is definitely there from what I've heard.
  11. Ryan Yarbrough always eats our lunch . Hoping for the best here, a sweep loss would truly be awful.
  12. SWR's BB/9 is a bit high at 3.79, which is unusual for him, but it's only 4 starts. His K/9 is ridiculous though at 14.68 lol, basically Jacob deGrom.
  13. Just flip the roles of John Schneider and Montoyo and we're gold.
  14. He looks like he's lost like 3 mph off his FB as well. That's probably part of it.
  15. Yeah I imagine if he finishes that game as strong as those 1st 4 IP then he's making his 4th start in the majors.
  16. If Manoah's 3rd start tomorrow is much like the 1st two, I really think we should have him make his 4th in the majors and piggy back Stripling and Kay.
  17. In this age of returns, for a rental, it wouldn't be anyone in our Top 10. I could see us sending CJ Van Eyk or even Pardinho though.
  18. Noticing something before the sample size grows doesn't make it wrong. I've watched all of his ABs this season. Pointing out that he's looked like a completely different player the past couple games isn't stupid or wrong. He does. He's swinging out of his shoes at stuff he wasn't even blinking at the rest of the season.
  19. Have you been watching his ABs or just filtering on FG? The past few games, he swinging at every ball in the dirt. Prior to that, he was not. Maybe filter the past few games by swinging strike % on balls outside the zone.
  20. Nope, I've watched his ABs, he looks nothing like he looked the entire season. He looks like old Grich
  21. He's turning back into a pumpkin. He's swinging at all the s*** now, after showing restraint most of the season.
  22. Eventually I assume Manoah is up. It might even be within a week. He starts tmw and if he dominates again, I would not be surprised to see start #3 in the majors. He definitely doesn't have the confidence issues Pearson seems to have, at least, on the surface. I have my doubts that he will forget how to throw strikes if he's given the chance.
