    And the 188 wRc+ (will go up after today's game) is much higher than Meija's age 21 AA season. He has to be Too 10. I know it's only 27 games but he's dominating and showing no signs of slowing. K rate only 17% which is not bad at all, especially for his age.

    Not sure I've read about his stuff, but he's been lights out this season. Anyone know if he's doing this on pure pitch-ability or if he has legit stuff too? Any plus pitches?

    This is all eye-test here, but I don't remember ever seeing so many pitch-calls by a catcher that nailed the glove get squared up. Didn't see it with Jansen, don't see it with Adams. So either they're all game calling the same via dugout instructions and Reese is Mr Unlucky, or the catchers' game calling is mostly up to them, or at least they have final say. I'm leaving towards the latter.

    I was pissed at 1st but this. You can't fault this logic much. Yes you can call for Castro instead, but tough to know for sure if either is a better option. At this point, Atkins needs to do something.

    The single to Marwin Gonzales was yet another pitch call from McGuire and Manoah hit his spot. Only 2 K through 5 IP doesn't add up for me. McGuire really sucks game calling for Manoah.
