  1. I hated it from day 1. I would have preferred to see Hendriks get stretched out.
  2. I don't think so, but he has pitched against tougher competition than Floyd, as Hurl pointing out a few days ago.
  3. Why did they take out Stro after 60 pitches?
  4. Way too many fastballs imo, but what do I know.
  5. Throw a curve right here.
  6. Sort of lol. He hasn't been racking up the same K rate, as of yet, but it is early.
  7. He hasn't been racking up the K's, but Happ has still looked pretty good today.
  8. I've never really understand how this: http://wpmedia.news.nationalpost.com/2012/07/aaron_loup_july13.jpg?quality=65&strip=all is uglier than Sanchez, Osuna, Dickey, Happ, etc, let alone ugly at all really lol. He just looks rather plain.
  9. So, based on that, Sanchez has faced more difficult competition than Floyd this spring and put up better numbers?
  10. Who's starting today? Happ?
  11. Possibly even more than Sanchez if that pitch arsenal plays up like Blanton's did last year. He also has a 95 mph fastball as a starter so it could increase a bit in the pen. He's also thrown far less innings than Sanchez the past few years so he may contribute for longer in the pen.
  12. I guess Vindette or Choate will get the Loup nod.
  13. I just don't understand why Dickey can't figure out how to get that amazing SwStr% from his Cy Young year back? It's not like his skills are really deteriorating since he's a knuckle baller.
  14. I really liked Boxy's suggestion for trading Dickey for whatever, and then trading for Trevor May in a separate trade. I wish we could do that.
  15. He wasn't even "that good" in his best years. In his 2.92 ERA year, for example, he had a 4.20 FIP.
  16. Welcome bro!
  17. They constantly said he was working 96-98, and touching 99.
  18. Unless Floyd pitches 6+ IP, with 7 K, 0 BB, and 0 R in his next start, Sanchez pretty much has this, and Floyd will be the long man.
  19. He's suggesting that our rotation would have to be much better than the perception of it, if Sanchez doesn't make it. I think he's being sarcastic as well.
  20. They probably told him, you'll only get a chance to start if you have 4 pitches that you use frequently, can throw for strikes, and can get strikeouts with.
  21. It's now: 20IP, 1.35 ERA, 3ER, 19K, 3BB
  22. Sanchez coming back out for the 7th!
