  1. Like Washington?
  2. Pervert
  3. I'd love to see him give us all a big f*** you and dominate on D and be average at the plate.
  4. I'll like him on D and despise him in the lineup.

They've waived him twice this season already.
  6. ..and Teo plays the role of Grichuk for next year?
  7. Because he expects that everything will blow up in the Jays face.
  8. So assuming he's healthy, he'll provide wonderful defence and will essentially be a black hole in the lineup. Kiermaier supporters will quote his plus D-WAR and his detractors will point out his negative O-War all season long. Sound about right?
  9. Not seriously addressing the pen is a point of contention for many.
  10. Berrios got 7 years. I'd be surprised if Rodon doesn't get 7 himself.
  11. Regardless if he met with the Jays or not, I don't think the Jays are comfortable offering what he's looking for (and will likely get).
  12. Feels like a reach. If he said he's only visited one country I don't think he was playing in semantics.
  13. If there was a team in Vancouver he'd be interested.
  14. I'll be curious to see if Roberse has an uptick in velocity this spring. I think adding to the FB was something he wanted to work on this off-season.
  15. Senga is too much risk for this organization. Dropping that kind of money on someone who hasn't thrown one pitch in the majors doesn't sound like their MO.
  16. Maybe he still thinks he's old Thor.
  17. To be fair, he was raised in a Major League household. He knows how to play the media game.
  18. They haven't done a very good job of developing cheap young talent that can step in and be meaningful pieces to the roster...especially in the pen. That should theoretically be the easiest place to do it. If you don't have a steady pipeline of talent coming up ready to step in year after year, you have to spend more than Rogers wants to.

    7-Up is a Pepsi product??
  20. That's what I'm afraid will happen, but I don't want to believe that they're stupid enough to let it happen.
  21. It's entirely possible. In which case they have to get a Kings ransom in return.
  22. He is. But Rogers shouldn't be let off the hook either. They are risk averse. Shatkins needs to follow suit. They wouldn't just be handcuffing themselves for no reason. They have directives they must follow.
  23. 8 years? Barf.
  24. Regardless of what happens (sign both, sign one, sign neither) the Jays CANNOT f*** this up. Can't vastly overpay either with term or $. If they decide that a contract isn't going to happen they must maximize value. Can't let them go to market and only get a compensation pick back.
