And Woll isn't our only goaltending prospect that's putting up impressive numbers this season either...
Artur Akhtyamov
Dennis Hildeby
Vyacheslav Peksa
All putting up very good numbers in their respective leagues.
Oh ya. January 15th is really just a formality and for show. Unless something goes terribly wrong, everyone knows where they're going and for how much. In fact, next year's class has a pretty good idea as well... Or at least a good chunk of them.
I'd say he is now. Not sure he was at the start of the season given how little he's been able to play over the past 2-3 seasons. Woll has always had the higher ceiling, but he's just been a walking bandaid. Hopefully this is the beginning of big things for him.
Why do so many people ignore the entire body of work and just look at the most recent stats? Berrios has had several very solid seasons. Last year he was bad.... Does that automatically mean he can't bounce back and get in line with what he's done for the majority of his career?
I'm gonna make sure I tell 10 women in the office tomorrow that Football is not for them. They don't understand it, and they're not meant to understand it. I'm thinking I will get a positive reaction.
I'm still not convinced they remain in luxury tax territory when the season starts. But if they are, good on Rogers for whipping their wallet out and not being afraid to use it.
