    Another season of our pitchers pitching with no margin for error appears to be on the menu. Even by our pitiful standards over the last couple of years today's lineup is...painful.

    Bradish might be back sooner than that but it would give them a boost down the stretch. Eflin isn't expected to be long-term even if it's not super quick. Rodriguez remains to be seen. I'm not going to count him out just yet. He's probably the biggest key. If he can pitch this year it changes the complexion of things. In terms of contending for World Series I agree it's perhaps not good enough but in terms of contending in the division with the lineup they can put out there they only need to hang around in games. If they get a bit of injury health their rotation can certainly do that.
