  1. Opera does. But I'll give your suggestion a shot and see how it goes.
  2. I'm not angry at Atkins for not signing them, I'm angry that they're waiting too long to make a decision one way or the other. Speaking of audacity, you have to be audacious as a GM and have the balls to pick a path on big decisions and go with it. It should not come down to their final year. Both of them should have been settled by now, and should be settled no later than opening day. It's like the mistake the Raptors made with Pascal Siakam last year.
  3. LOL, what? I obviously missed this, sounds completely hilarious though.
  4. It might be 90% true that I'll be bouncing Sydney Sweeney's funbags tonight. Stay tuned.
  5. I use the opera browser so I don't know what any of this is.
  6. He doesn't put a single butt in any seat unless it's friends and family. If this team seriously intends on going through the season with an unsigned Vlad or, to a lesser extent, Bo on this mediocre team it's a fireable offense. Either lock them up or trade their asses.
  7. Or we can just not do that. That would have worked too.
  8. Bingo! I don't feel any real way about this but general numbness.
  9. Nah, I'm convinced it's the whole metric thing.
  10. I think it really is about the money, it's an ego play. Nobody can possibly project 15 years of who will be more competitive between two very rich New York teams. But perhaps the willingness to spend is also symbolic. The Mets seem more willing right now to blow their brains out spending.
  11. Now would absolutely be the time!
  12. Yankees are still the Yankees. New York, LA and soon to be Las Vegas, those are glam destinations. It won't change anytime soon. Yankees might not always win the top FA anymore, but they will continue to be a player.
  13. It's shortsighted. Free agency is best utilized for finishing touches not rebuilding your team on the fly with high dollar contracts for players going into their 30s. It will ultimately set the team back and make the path to actual winning that much longer. I have no problem signing low risk/high reward contracts, maybe guys coming off of injuries. If it works out they're movable at the deadline for more assets to build going forward. That should be our free agency play.
  14. Hopefully the market will protect the Jays from themselves. Their whole plan of action here is so stupid and short-sighted.
  15. Civil discourse is very difficult these days. I personally don't adhere to a wing. I have my own independent thoughts on each issue, but the tribalism people subscribe to now is weird. Some nutquacks become angry and threatening. I can understand any message board administration not wanting that responsibility. Especially on a pro sports board.
  16. Absolutely. There is no comparison between Witt and Vladdy. Witt is already a far better player and his growth has been on a steep incline. He almost has to come down a bit because it's hard to be much better. I'd lock him up also.
  17. Baseball offseason is not baseballing enough. Got to fill the dead air with something.
  18. The majority of Torontonians are still sane and rational people. Just certain parts of old Toronto, and some young people, especially white chicks, they tend to be the woke saviours. They have some sort of weird complex.
  19. He's plus sized and he's beautiful on the inside.
  20. I mean, commenting about tariffs COULD be interpreted as demonstrating political allegiances although you can still support either side and still think people are dumb for not knowing how tariffs work. However having a certain image next to your username on EVERY SINGLE post you make most definitely is demonstrating your political allegiance 100% of the time. For the record, I don't personally care dude but if you're going to throw stones from glass houses...
  21. Definitely. I was worried that maybe they had convinced themselves that he was worth keeping around, but thankfully not. But it is yet another hole in a team that seems to be digging more holes and filling none.
  22. I wouldn't have wanted Snell for that price. I suspect that'll be the case for most free agents. The best thing that could happen to this organization is that the market slaps down their ridiculous efforts to rebuild the team through free agency so we can get on with the rebuild/retool that's required. Snell is off the board, Soto was never really on it for us. Please don't go blow your brains out on the Santander's of the world.
  23. Doesn't make sense to me either. They won't get Soto, which probably allows them to fill more holes as a result, but while I admire Rogers' willingness to spend, I think most people see this attempt to fix poor drafting and development with gobs of money as an act of desperation and I tend to agree. Fixing a fundamentally flawed team with little internal talent through free agency makes for an intriguing offseason but it's not a prudent approach.
  24. Glad it's over with, happy for Teo. f*** everyone else. Apparently the Yankees face planted historically in front of their fans; you love to see it. On to the offseason... Oh and the goofballs who paid top dollar just to get ejected for trying to rip a ball out of Mookie's glove should be raped by cacti.
  25. Well that's it for me. Absolute worst case scenario. See y'all in the offseason. Should be an interesting one for us.
