Yeah I know that's what you meant, I went off on a tangent, but it's just something that's kicked around in my mind for a few years that I've always wondered about.

I always wondered if it would be possible for one of the major sports League to allow players to be loaned. Sort of like they do in soccer. I don't think it's ever done within the same league in soccer but what if teams outside of a playoff spot can loan a star under contract beyond the current season for the rest of the season and get something back in return and then get the star player back at the end of the season to resume the contract? Obviously there would be risk involved in allowing a player under contract to play extra games for another team especially in the postseason but you are getting something in return. I know it's pie in the sky thinking, this will never happen but I wonder what that would look like.

Well the ugly Sox are in a weakened state and we don't have to face the big ace, but it's baseball, the truth is nobody f***ing knows. You win the ones you expect to lose and you lose the ones you expect to win sometimes. We're in a better position than we've been in a few weeks, my hope is that a complete 5 man rotation for the moment will subdue some of the hemorrhaging we've been seeing from the bullpen recently Well except for Green, he just plain sucks at this point.

Your head is very large at the moment, but I'm fine with that, because your head is only large when the Jays are doing well, and I will gladly trade your inflated head for Blue Jays success. I see. But people have every right to be frustrated because the talent is clearly there to be great and it always comes in flashes. Besides we have every right to worry about the contract if it comes back to hurt this team's ability to compete. I don't care how much ownership spends, I want them to spend as much as possible, I do care if how they spend their money hamstrings the team. Especially for those who felt that trading him for other assets and using the money elsewhere was a better overall move. Besides, worrying about that does not preclude us worrying about any other poor investments. We have the ability to bitch about multiple things at the same time after all. -
I figured he'd be out of the lineup regardless, clearly it really stung him and they want to give him a day or two. At least I hope that's all it is.

Holy s*** ain't that the truth? Good parenting is required now more than ever and it appears parenting has gone in the toilet as well. We are living in some sort of timeline let me tell you. I guess AI and robotics will put the final nail in society's coffin. I just hope that Jays could win another World Series before everything goes straight to hell lol.

That there is some f***ed up s***. The mother getting 10 years for trafficking is disturbing. Meanwhile he basically gets little more than a stern talking to. And on a baseball note, the Rays don't miss a beat after losing a young superstar. I wonder what league will take him. Somebody will just not major league baseball.

Couldn't watch the game, Gausman typically destroys when he pitches in Cleveland, good to see that's still true. It's a series win, Boston is also a winnable series. I see Guerrero was hurt, and Heiny, hopefully they're both okay.

He's not a long guy. He's never thrown more than two innings. On a back-to-back he might not even do two innings. I don't think we have a long guy today. It'll be patchwork if a Max doesn't last. Let's just hope that Max gives us innings.
