Gonna be a struggle to get through 5 today with all these lefties. He doesn't have much to put them away with. Coming off a bullpen game. Might be a butt clencher for the next couple of innings until we can start to bridge to the end.
What bugs me about the red uni's is that you could still keep the over-the-top Canada theme with the logo retaining its regular colours. At least it wouldn't be quite as gaudy. They are BLUE jays after all.
I need to see another season from Vladdy before ever considering paying him the kind of money it will take to lock him up. Not only am I not sure what version of him we are getting going forward, but he still hasn't shown the kind of commitment to his body that I would like to see.
I would also at least explore what the trade market for him would look like.
Richards seemed to be on a good run for a while. To the point where I thought he could be a decent mid-leverage playoff guy when we need a K.
Looks like that's over now.
It's easy to say when Teo is having a down offensive year by his standards. His OF play is terrible, no defending that, but when he's on, he can carry this team offensively.
Can't decide whose chicken sandwich I like more, Mary's or KFC. But I do love that macaroni salad at KFC(the ones that use the white sauce, not the ones that use that nasty sweet yellowish sauce), that tends to nudge me towards KFC.
Too early to say yet. If Berrios shows us more Berrios the good down the stretch, you can make the case either way.
It may come down to matchups though. If you are most concerned with a the opposition's LHH, Stripling could be the better choice and vice-versa (assuming Berrios continues to trend upwards).
You could really see how today's lineup is designed with a focus on combating expected late inning bullpen moves from Tampa. Extra special effort to stagger lefty/righty through the bottom 6.
2 to 3 runs tops today and tomorrow from our offense I reckon. Stripper and Gaus are going to have to be near perfect.
