  1. If u could pick the top 25 players in baseball and create a super team, put Gibby in charge, they'd probably win 140 games yet have a below .500 record in one run games. And Gibby would deserve zero credit for the blowout wins. AA gave him the best team in paper. He's able to win in cruise control most of the time. But in one run games when the decisions matter most he turns it into one of the worst teams in baseball.
  2. Managers don't usually have a tonne of influence. This team usually scored a bunch of runs and managing it to win is easy when u put up crooked numbers. Gibby was no help there. But we had a horrible, putrid record in 1 run games, and that's where managers can make their mark. If your team wins 93 games but is like 10-27 in 1 run games it means you have an amazing lineup but a s***** manager. Gibby kills me. Nice guy but a goof. This team with Madden would have won 100 games this year.
  3. check that I'll go below face on my 500 level seats: $180 for the pair. Any takers? PM me and I'll get the message in the morning...I'm hitting the sack
  4. this is absolutely insane. Tickets for the ALCS are going for less than what they were going for the Yankees series at the end of the year. INSANE. Everyone has abandoned ship.
  5. I have a pair of 500 level tickets for sale for face value $100 each...PM me if interested
  6. Delebars weighted balk program can get him to 95+
  7. Can we ban BTS and his IP yet for starting this thread? Talk about a jinx and a half. f***ing Rays fan.
  8. One thing I've learned this playoff run is that Gibby is f***ING RETARDED
  9. Stro doesn't have it tonight. Not so far anyways.
  10. Come on Stro. He just doesnt have a strike out pitch. Do many guys get hits after 0-2 counts. Walking a tightrope all playoffs...we need a bigger performance tonight from him.
  11. Eddie missing a lot of hittable pitches here...
  12. A good RF catches that liner. An average one allows the single to drop in. A bad one turns it into a triple. Probably Goins' fault though. Joey Bats, welcome to 1B in 2016!
  13. Thats right bandit, and no one predicted this ALCS crash. ECJF was predicting that he would get a ticket for ALDS game 1 for $100. There was nothing anywhere near that unless you knew someone. This ALCS crash isn't just people waiting out the market - the market has been garbage the entire time for the ALCS. I'm pretty confused by it. Jaysblue don't act like you predicted the ALCS crash thats ******** - otherwise you wouldnt be selling for face value right now. On the other hand I've sold a bunch of WS tickets for 6+ times face value already, so the WS market is even higher than I originally thought at least early on.
  14. That's funny, since all that talk was about game 1 of ALDS and I'm still waiting for ECJF to tell us about his $100 ticket to game 1 of ALDS. Sorry but I don't think that prediction ever came true. Meanwhile all my game 1 seats sold for between 4 and 5 times face value so I guess I get the last laugh on that one. Good try though. The ALCS prices are f***ed though, that's for sure.
  15. Again, willing to sell a ticket to today's game for cost, below cost if I have to. Its a single for section 130C Row 10. Best offer gets it. Make me an offer! PM me your cell # and I will call you
  16. I'll sell my single ticket for 130C Row 10 for less than face. 200 cash takes it.
  17. I have a seat in 130C Row 10 available for face value. PM me if you want it. Also a pair of tickets in section 535 row 17, I paid $220 including fees. Will sell for $260
  18. Its funny, there is less demand for ALCS tickets. Tickets for the ALCS are actually selling for less than they were for game 1 of the ALDS, despite the face value of upper deck seats being double. Its f***ed. Anyways, I have 2 seats behind home plate in 525 row 7. Also 2 seats 238 row 6. Also a single in 130C Row 10. Contact me if interested.
  19. Bottom line is the play happened, and after it was still 3-0 with a guy on 1st. Not a big deal. But then Price completely crumbles after that little incident. If he let that little single rattle him, then he's f***ed.
  20. I have a single for game 3, section 130C, row 10. Someone make me a reasonable offer and its yours. Can email it tonight. Face value was $236 including fees. Anyone willing to give me $275 for it? Thats only a $39 mark up.
  21. KC is not a much better team than Texas. Texas was the 2nd best team in baseball in the second half after us. KC had a worse second half, although they turned it around at the end of the season. We already know we can win a few games in a row. f*** we just did it this week! Lets just calm the f*** down, win Monday, then win Tuesday and we're all square.
  22. Well I guess I of all people have to agree with this!
  23. Look, I apologize for losing it RE: Revere. I'm just really pissed about this game and in a bad mood. Nevertheless, I don't have any more time to argue with those who feel that Ben Revere is a stud because he lead the league in hits one year, while ignoring more important stats. I'm done on this topic. We'll agree to disagree.
  24. This is f***ing retarded. You want to argue on base now? His career on base average is .328 But hey, he lead the league in hits last year! That must make him the best player in the league! Pay him 30 MILLIONS! What is this, 1980? This is so dumn.
  25. Agreed, he needs to show up too. Most of the team has been s***. I am not trying to only pick on Revere. I just agreed with a previous poster who wanted to see Pompey given a shot. Then for some reason a few geniuses decided to argue that Revere is a stud .300 hitter while ignoring OPS. I can't let that go unchecked. BTW, SSS, but despite Pompey have what most would call a horrible start to his career, his career OPS is higher than Revere's. And he's just as fast, and plays better D. Then factor in his higher ceiling.
