    I hate agreeing with Buck but that is a rule that needs fixing.

    If he did what he was charged with then I don't want him on the team regardless of his supposed value. There should not be a grey area with how you feel towards someone that hits women. I wouldn't care if he was the best player in the league and it sets the franchise back. IF he did what he is accused of he is as good as dead to me.

    Why people react to an observation on a discussion board with vitriol and assumptions boggles my mind! No where did I say I was worried, I am curious to where they are going to find the savings. From what I have read Conine was not expected to need to go too much under slot. Since this is a discussion board perhaps we can discuss it instead. :-)

    Based on the stat line it looks like Patrick Murphy had a bit of an adventure yesterday on the mound. 7 IP, 10 hits, 7 K's, 1 BB's but only 1 run allowed.

    Nice game from Saucedo in a losing cause as well. 5 hits and 2 ER over 8 is a solid day. K's were meh but only 2 BB's.

    Regardless of where you stand on the fluke vs fat argument, I think we should all hope that the Jays medical and dietary personnel are monitoring Vlad's diet and exercise while he is sedentary.

    I don't get it. Why not put DSJ or Granderson out there? Seems like an increased chance of injury for Martin when he is bouncing all over the diamond.

    Interesting that they moved Bichette to lead off even though he was struggling. Responded with a solid day at the plate.

    A lot of TO fans were home watching the Raptors and the Leafs at the beginning of the season as well. I wonder how the attendance has been the last few weeks vs the start of the season.

    I was surprised to see that Bichette's HR was his first.

    His hit tool isn't going away...he needs to improve his D on 3rd via more game action...the Jays are not likely to contend this year. Leave him in AA for a while then move him to AAA to finish the season. If the Jays are out after rosters expand bring him up (unless they extend Donaldson) to get some major league 3rd experience. (I really doubt Donaldson is extended...more likely traded tbh) ALL of this is out the window if they are contending of course..

    BTS...why does that sound familiar? Sounds like an acronym for a seriously unpleasant disease...Bowel Toxicity Syndrome? Is that it? ;-) Congrats BTS. I don't post much but I have appreciated your input to this forum. It is a better place with you part of it.

    I agree almost 100%, I just don't have any faith in Travis staying healthy. Him, Alford and Pompey are all doubtful to me right now. Need to see a year long healthy streak for each of them before they shake the "injury prone" (or worse) stigma in my mind.

    True about Tellez' first at bat, I guess I was basing that more on his second at bat. I may also be over-analyzing him based on wanting him to have a turn around season.

    Would Pillar or Cain be ok with not being the every day center fielder? Not sure about Cain but I don't get the sense that Pillar would take a move to a corner well...

    Latos looks good today. Hopefully Martin can get him into a groove so he can contribute to the big club.
