    I was thinking the same thing. I also was thinking about the Tigers game a few weeks ago that the shortstop almost got into a fight in the dugout because his team mate thought he fluffed the play. Tulo had less of a chance at that ball and still went for it... Shows a lot of character.

    Get some bench guys some at bats. It's not about resting the regulars it's about keeping the bench guys fresh for a stretch run.

    That was a great read. It goes to show how much work he puts in trying to get things done. I read between the lines that in the past he has had a few deals he thought were done fall through and was left with a sour taste for not pursuing other deals congruently. I can't agree with all of the deals he has made but at least you know it is not through lack of trying....amirite?

    I am not continuing this past this post but you are missing exactly what I said..... Will the people that chirped last year step up and lead the team or will the new comers continue to lead the way. You're definitely NOT like Einstein...

    A few of the Jays moped last year when there were no real significant moves at or around the deadline. This year is 100% put-up or shut your cock-holster time for them. It will be very interesting to see if they actually perform and lead the team or will it be the newcomers. My bets are on Donaldson and Tulo making a bigger impact over the last month than EE or Jose. I am not rooting against the holdovers, just watching with interest.

    I have lost a lot of faith in Norris becoming the pitcher I thought he would be as of late. Therefore I approve.

    As long as they don't spend anything more than a mid level prospect on a SP rental I will be ok. If they trade one or more prospects not named Alford on a number three or better starter with at least two years of control I will be ok.

    I am just so f***ing happy that Reyes is gone.....his nonchalant "who-f***ing-cares-if-we-win-let's-all-just-have-a-bunch-of-f***ing-laughs" attitude made me want to donkey kick him in the back in front of a bus. I can't imagine that that kind of attitude played well for Donaldson and Martin etc.
