  1. Davis Schneider hitting .500 with a wRC+ of 338 and an ISO of .500 in his first 5 games. 18 years old - the future of the Blue Jays is so bright!
  2. Good - that prick stiffed me 6 year old son who wanted his autograph this spring. Karma bitch. That said - BB/K ratio is still excellent. As is the defense I suspect.
  3. Might be tough getting face value for tickets the rest of this season (possibly until 2019).
  4. Same - and that's my point. Buck was talking about how you used to be able to fray the laces and how infielders would wink at the pitcher when the ball had some imperfection on it. He was even talking about a day when they could rub up the leather and wrinkle it. I'm thinking to myself - for the love of god - someone stop Buck and tell him we're talking about changes to the ball between 2015 and 2017....not 1972 and 2017. Bobcat asks him a legit question and he goes off about s*** from 40 years ago. That said, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
  5. I completely agree with this. Do it right. There is no base to band-aid around unfortunately.
  6. No more catching prospects please.
  7. Didn't you guys hear Buck on Bobcat's show last night? He said clearly there is a change because these days, as soon as a ball hits the dirt, the catcher gives it to the ump without being asked and a new one is put in play. He said pitchers can't doctor up the ball like they use to be able to (said they would fray the laces, etc.). Apparently he thought the global debate was whether the ball is different today than it was in 1979.
  8. Don't look now, but Pillar's D and BsR have declined significantly. At this rate, he'll be a 4th OFer again pretty soon (sad but true)
  9. was his leg kick back today? Doesn't look like it mattered either way.
  10. Taking reports from TLBF is about as wise as committing to a Cleveland Steamer without googling it.
  11. I don't give a crap about the tone he speaks in personally. Just use facts and stop making things up like Tabby + Buck.
  12. He must have come down with a pimple.
  13. Can we bring in AA as a special consultant to deal with this situation?
  14. I'd be pretty f***ing concerned if they weren't.
  15. I didn't know that. Thanks Hurl. That's awesome.
  16. He's got a wRC+ of 3 in A+ ball fwiw.
  17. I love that when I come to the game i don't have to worry about rain delays or rain outs. But f*** the atmosphere and experience is s*** with the roof closed.
  18. Goins must have seen him name in the lineup v. Sale and cursed Gibby a few times.
  19. Chris Sale is ruining Canada Day. f*** him.
  20. Man. I don't care what anyone says. I love Tulo. There is nothing better than when he gets hot at the plate.
  21. I noticed Wok and King are MIA. It sucks. I don't miss IBB and much like the 2nd base slide rule - I no longer think or care about it. I haven't once thought to myself "man, I wish runners could try and injure middle infielders at 2nd base again. I really miss seeing that". Change isn't as difficult as some people think.
  22. I wish you could sort Fangraph articles by total # of .gifs. I love baseball .gifs. I want to see pitchers repertoire and hitters making adjustments and/or doing something great. I click on so many articles hoping to see .gifs and am often left disappointed.
