It looks like he went from 37-38% pull up to 43% pull last year. Is that a significant change? I don't pretend to know what wOBA is, but P2F says .356 suggests there's something there, while you use that number to suggest he won't repeat. S'plain please.

Who's the best prospect you'd give up for Avisail Garcia? Nobody expects a repeat, but he is only 26, coming off a 4.2 WAR season (in only 136 games). I don't think he'd be a terrible fit in LF. I'd give up Urena & C.Greene. Anyone know if he puts up above average exit velocity - or if his advanced metrics (launch angle, etc.) are promising?

I have to think this is the Fowler situation all over. A good fit for the team, but someone who will get 1 more year and a higher AAV than we think is fair. He's going to get about what Fowler did. I'd trade Pillar immediately if we could get some value (regardless of whether we sign Cain).

Luke Weaver seems significantly more appealing to me than Reyes. A year older, but he throws a lot more strikes, while still posting K/9 ratios >10. The rest of their system is awful though. Flaherty is fine, but I'd hate to build the trade around 2 pitchers. Harry Bader and O'Neill strike out way too much and we don't need another catcher in Carson Kelly. Weaver, Gyorko + Wong for JD?

Is Reyes even that good? His BB/9 has been about 4.5 in every single season and stop he's made and is now coming off a lost season. Low GB%. I mean if we're trading JD to the Cards, he's the guy you want, but I'm not sold. He has a ton of similarities to Matt Moore.

No I'd trade Bo for Yelich. I meant I somewhat doubt Blair has may idea if the FO is actually that open to trading Bo and this random thought that some question his power at the next level. Just sounds like BS that Blair made up

Really? I'll admit I don't know much about him, but he put up pedestrian FIP, xFIP, BB/K in AA last year. I mean he averaged 98 MPH with the heater in the majors last year, but he seems more Conner Greene than Nate Pearson to me. -
FWIW, Blair said tonight on Bobcat's show that: 1. The Jays are heavily in on CC. He expects CC to sign with the Yanks or the Jays. CC and Shapiro are close and the Jays believe they need someone to mentor Stroman to tone down the douche. 2. He gets the impression the Jays are open to trading Bo Bichette and that some in the organization question how his power will translate. He said the Jays would have to give up Bo + for Yelich. 3. He gets the impression the Jays aren't shopping JD. He'll be a Blue Jay this year - only flipped at the deadline if we aren't in the race. I hate Jeff Blair, but there you go. #1 + #3 seems realistic, #2, not so much.
