  1. Matt Bush has a major league contract. That says it all. If you have talent, they will sign you. Morals be damned.
  2. This was a given no?
  3. John Farrell has been hired as a scout for the Reds. Yikes.
  4. It's the boldest prediction made so far. He's done it once in his entire career...in 2010.
  5. Morales looks to have lost weight. I saw Sano today. He's massive. He plays third which gives me hope Vlad Jr. can play somewhere besides 1st for awhile
  6. I wish Shatkins could have gone to management and asked for more money to cash in on some of these value deals.
  7. Yes he does. I thought the same at the game.
  8. It was a fantastic game. G-Snarls - you're a true gentleman and I appreciate your kind words. It was a pleasure meeting you and your fiance. She sure seems like a keeper (based on the fact that she's attractive and loves baseball). Watching the future of the Blue Jays dominate was truly bliss. My son's got 3 autograph's, include Bo's. That's a keeper for the mantle! Man - I love baseball.
  9. I feel like you don't know how the cycle works...
  10. That would be incredible for the future of this ball club.
  11. Nice - thanks Bob. He's a good depth piece.
  12. Does Deck have options? or does he have to make the club out of spring training?
  13. It's crazy to think a lefty bat coming off a .303/.362/.513 season with a wRC+ of 122 can't get a major league deal. This is a new age of baseball - that's for sure.
  14. I've been to NYC twice (first time the ball game got rained out!) and it really just wasn't for me. I mean the Manhattan area was fine and we did enjoy a few broadway shows, but overall I wasn't impressed. My wife basically got attacked by some crazy black lady on the subway in the Bronx. That was fun. Everything smells like piss on the streets. Seems to take forever to get anywhere and when you do, there are massive lines. I don't know. Maybe it's just a little too big for me. Our first time in NYC came on the heels of visiting Boston and we enjoyed Boston significantly more. I've since been to Chicago and again - I enjoyed it WAY more.
  15. The stadium tour was pretty cool. It's really popular though, so if you want to do it - call now and book a spot. I wasn't impressed with the area around the stadium (or NYC In general).
  16. The man hit .080. What other data were they missing?
  17. I agree - Jose's was the best, but man....Lawless's strut and confidence (on what was a wall scrapper and his 2nd career HR) was phenomenal and stupid all at once. Lawless's was also in the World Series guys - so it clearly had the dramatics (I wish they showed or said the score in the clip). Also - WHY THE f*** was a guy who hit .080 in the regular season batting in a World Series game?
  18. The way we rip Morales gives me hope he'll hit like 2017 Smoak!
  19. His velocity also remained the same as it was in 2016...his fastball was still effective, but he his offspeed stuff (primarily his slider) was really bad last year. Maybe he was tipping his pitches? Let's hope he finds the feel for it again this year.
  20. This was my impression as well. I have no problem with Wilner as an announcer.
  21. Or Franklin Morales, who signed a 1 yr, $2M deal a few years ago.
  22. Sounds like a great - and realistic target for the Jays. Everything you're reporting sounds great.
  23. You said that 19 minutes ago - and you're still wrong.
