    Isn't this just a matter of them rebuilding and need to add assets? Maximize the return for Goldy as there's no point keeping him through a rebuild and/or risking injury or him signing elsewhere? I kinda think this is the market for good players without much control. Teams aren't giving up prospects anymore.

    Rendon, Turner, Zimmerman & Gomes on the IF isn't too shabby either. "IF" they can stay healthy and Robles can step right in and produce, they "should" be a good team.

    I wonder if they'd be interested in Martin. They said they might spend money foolishly this year and could use a catcher... For the record - I'm perfectly fine with keeping Martin this year to mentor Danny - but if we could get something for him, while giving him the opportunity to start for a contender....then so be it.

    Can we fill in the blanks for a second now...what's the Phillies lineup look like? C - Alfaro / Knapp 1st - Hoskins 2nd - Hernandez SS - Segura 3rd - Franco LF - CF - Hererra RF - Then they have Kingery, Nick Williams, Altherr kicking around. Obviously Harper would move into RF. If they sign Machado - Franco moves to the bench. Kingery (and/or Franco?) could probably play LF unless they think that would hurt his long term development as a middle infielder. I guess Kingery could just serve as the super utility guy also. I wonder if they'll be looking to move Franco for a catcher, as they can't expect a repeat out of Alfaro (.400+ BABIP, 36 K%)

    Very interested. There is a remote possibility that Bruce bounces back to a 1.5-2 WAR player, but still... The Mariners must believe Cano is going to be pure garbage without PED's - or maybe they know he's going to just take them again and could be a high risk of getting caught? Could that be the X factor here?

    C - Mesoraco/Plawecki/TDA? 1st - Alonso/Cano 2nd - Cano/McNeil SS - Rosario 3rd - McNeil/Frasier LF - Cespedes CF - Nimmo RF - Conforto SP - DeGrom, Thor, Wheeler, Lugo, Matz B - s*** + Diaz They need to get a lot of middle relief and some more depth, but that's probably a good team.

While searching this, I also found out that Blair's 2017 HOF vote got lost in the mail somehow. Based on who he voted for - maybe the Baseball Gods had something to do with it. This guy votes for some of the PED guys - Bonds, Clemens + Manny....but then goes on to vote for Jorge Posada - but not for Pudge Rodriquez? Da f*** is wrong with this guy? You know the process is broken when this ******* gets a vote. Might as well let Barker vote for christ sakes.

    Braves have to hang onto Riley don't they? He's their only positional prospect and is in line to take over for JD at 3rd in 2020. Edit - they also have Camargo. I don't know how likely it is that he repeats, but he was great last year. Where are they going to play him in 2019?

    He would have been tied with Clippard and Osuna as our 2nd most valuable reliever last year.....while playing for 5 teams!
