Don't have a great feeling about this one. Maybe it's our sh*tty fans swaying my mood. Some of you don't deserve this. They've proved me wrong before and overcome difficulties all year though - hopefully we've got a couple more wins up their sleeve.

Serious question @Jays24. How good do you think this team would be with a competent Manager and FO? So you think we're the clear cut World Series champs? You think we got here in spite of our useless FO and Manager? We're tied for the best Jays team in the last 32 years. You think this is all happening and possible in spite of the FO and Management? Does that make sense to you? I happen to think this isn't as good as the 2015 team, yet here we are. Nobody bats 1000, but it's wild this team is here when we obviously have the worst Manager and FO in league history. Explain it to me.

You sound ridiculous. I'm pointing out how hypocritical it is for fans who have ripped on JS over the past 6-8 weeks for continuing to trust Hoffman to close out games - for NOT using him in the 8th inning. This isn't complicated - even for you.

Bases loaded nobody out - can't score. Multiple times they didn't advance runners. IKF caught off 2nd. We didn't execute well all game IMO

To eat innings if a starter is pulled early or hurt I would suggest - or perhaps to give us length if we end up in a long extra innings game. People suggesting we're going to put Bassitt in the game during late inning, high leverage situations are fooling themselves. Those 2 could play a pivotal role today as we really don't know what we'll get out of Yesavage.

He does make a point though. Some are acting like Dominguez and Hoffman are Ward and Henke - and they aren't. They both have their flaws. I wonder how much he considered Fisher there.

Wow - great work by Madison Shipman. She probably deserves a raise for suggesting the team needs to score more runs in a 2-1 game. Not much gets past her. Is Hoffman actually one of our top 2 arms? I'm not sure he is. Hoffman has been as awful as Little for months now.

Dude - it's extremely likely that Gausman would be awful pitching on 2 days rest. I appreciate his mentality, but he's not that guy.

That is misleading. Little's HR/FB rate this year was only 5.4%. He's a different pitcher this year (12 K/9 v 7 K/9 last year). Doesn't matter.
