  1. The entire pitching staff may be better options than Varsho is at the plate. There are no shortage of options.
  2. please bunt Varsho - you can't hit.
  3. Good point. I'm sure he's tangibly better than he was the past 2 years. Typical of most 33 year old RPers.
  4. That's about the only thing I haven't seen yet this year - people bitching the Yimi is trash. Won't be long now.
  5. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  6. Donny telling them the hunt the fastball like it's 1986
  7. How does Bo go from being a .300 hitter to a .130 hitter so quickly? Donny Baseball is ruining this team.
  8. wonder what we can get for him this year...maybe a hitter?
  9. There's little doubt in my mind that he's gone this year or in the offseason. Can't justify paying him $25M and I think the probability of him turning this around is <5%
  10. Yes he can. Vlad is the biggest loser in franchise history. He's ready to go for the home run derby though!
  11. OMG, can we have Moreno and Gurriel back please?
  12. twice as many baserunners as I would have expected so far. Things are looking up?
  13. Why would you expect anything different? This is the same team as 2023 and we watched it for 164 games last year.
  14. Stro working around Kirk. Makes sense with cleanup type hitter Varsho on deck.
  15. Donny Baseball's fault. Telling the whole team to 'pull dat ball' like he's f***ing Cito Gaston.
  16. Yanks probably don't even know he throws a curveball.
  17. I bought my son a Braves hat during spring training this year. Last week I took his Blue Jays hat and stuffed it in the back of the closet - never to be worn again. He keeps asking where it is and is all upset that it's gone and I just keep telling him to forget about the Blue Jays. No amount of tears will make me break. We're going to the Yanks game on the 17th, where I will complete his transformation by buying him a Yankees hat so he can cheer for a winner.
  18. his baseball IQ is -7 man. Hell of a home run derby specialist though.
  19. yes it is.
  20. Was it Ohtani who wanted the ball? Is it typical for stars to want their first HR ball with a new team? Like would Betts have kept his first LAD Hr ball? It just doesn't seem very significant to me. I can't imagine who would pay $100K for that ball myself. A couple of signed bats, jerseys, balls and meeting Ohtani probably would have felt like fair compensation if I was put on the spot.
  21. Varsho struck out? Shocking!
