    It looks like Castro tore off all remnants of his braces. I'm a little surprised the Jays FO didn't get a local orthodontist in Florida to meet up with him and fix him up. Give him a retainer at the very least. Sorry, that whole braces story caught my eye because my son has braces. Topical for me.

    The only Jay reliever I remember watching eliciting that many weak swings was when Timlin first came up. Castro is amazing. SSS, but wow, just wow.

    You know, I was watching this game and thinking, man, the Jays *as a team* are just so much more likeable than in years past. It's easy to cheer for everyone on the roster. Last year I had a hard time really liking some of the roster.

    Hah, no kidding. MB has no arm velo to lose. There is no reason to think he can't perform like he has for 3-4 more seasons. I actually wouldn't be angry if we re-signed him next year, but that seems doubtful with all the arms on the farm.

    We'll see I guess. After the season we'll have to compare Howard versus the composite BJ 1B offensive stats (eg Valencia/Smoak).

    That's a very good 'pen. AA has done a good job forming this bullpen on a shoestring. Actually, he's done a great job. It's hard to fault him for anything he's done this off season. IMO.
