    I find the most interesting part of the Jays season currently, is watching how bad Morales is, and wondering how bad he needs to be to be dropped. I check his box score stats every morning just to see how bad he is getting. I think he gets cut once he bottoms out below .100.

    I hope Morales might by DFA when Smoak gets back, but he might get DFA when Tulo finally gets back. I hope it's sooner than later.

    I think you try to sign Happ to an extension. Pearce can go for sure. I would keep Grandy. I would DFA Morales a week ago. I would call up Vlad and have him, and JD, alternate 3B and DH the rest of the season. I would try to extend JD, yes. I would try to keep Grichuk on the DL (and subsequent rehab assignment) as long as possible until one of the young guys emerges (Pompey, DSJ, Alford). If none do, bring Grichuk back. If someone makes the case to stay, you may have to consider either trading Grandy of DFA Grichuk.

    Teoscar was 2-4 tonight, really the only player who hit s***. I'm still thinking he may be for real. Man, for Liriano, it was a good deal. No matter what.

    Guys, I need to know, honestly will the Jays DFA Morales soon? I am fixated on getting him off this f***ing roster. We have so many better options! And, it's not my money.

    Luis Santos has been promoted, but was not on the 40-man. A move has to be made. Please be Morales DFAed! Andrew Stoeten seems to think he may be done. Here's hoping it is true.

    Yeah that is my read on it, too. I love our young OF and next year with Grandy and Pearce (presumably) gone we might be able to get some more of those kids in there.

    That is exactly what I am thinking. I want him to heat up so we can find a trade partner. I know we'd still eat 90% of his salary or something but so what. We need him gone.

    Yeah and he is hitting. Both he and Grundy come off the books after this year, but for now, both are contributing in many facets. Morales contributes how?

    I disagree. I think they need to DFA Morales. Eat the money. Or make the trade, and eat 95% of his salary for a B prospect to save some face. He is awful, slow, and log jamming everything.
