  1. 3B Biggio 2B Semien SS Bichette LF Gurriel 1B Guerrero DH Tellez C Jansen RF Palacios CF Davis Pretty decent lineup even with Springer and Teo sitting.
  2. If I’m not in win now mode I’d likely keep Buehler and Gore. Ramirez is really good though. Yelich had a terrible .259 BABIP and still put up 113 wRC+. It’s not hard to imagine him bouncing back to near 2018-2019.
  3. Draft room date is set to March 1. Is this still happening next monday or the date is being pushed back?
  4. I’m still looking to create more big league roster space. Feel free to send some offers as I’ll be on Fantrax all week. A couple of the guys I didn’t list may also be available if incoming offers make sense.
  5. Was he completely baked or is this a prank?
  6. If the team is deep in contention by the deadline, they’re likely seeking for some type of elite SP for prospect acquisition to bolster the rotation (ala Chris Sale or Verlander type trade). They have the financial flexibility and farm system to pull off that kind of trade, rather than blowing their load on another 4th starter type right now. The rotation has plenty of backend depth and probably be close to league average, I’m more worried about the D behind them.
  7. A whole bunch of guys got called up last year, but haven’t established their role long term. I’m interested to see a couple arms get a shot in the rotation as a depth piece like Merryweather, Kay, and Hatch. Or whether Kirk will be the primary catcher/dh moving forward. In terms to the guys you mentioned, it’s very difficult to see either Martin or Groshans in 2021 with neither having any extensive time in full season ball. Both of them would have to rake in double-A just to get a chance as a September call-up. I personally think Martin is the best third baseman in the farm (defensively + bat) and it’s not really close. Groshans has monster power but his hit tool and glove are still developing. Manoah and Simeon doesn’t have any track record in double-A and they are most likely not getting fast tracked through the BP. The transition to double-A is often a difficult one for pitching prospects. I wouldn’t rule it out, but there would need to be some serious injury bug plaguing the pitching staff to go that far down the depth chart so we’d probably see Waguespack/Sopko types before them.
  8. OTB Jackie Bradley Jr Josh Donaldson Miles Mikolas Matt Barnes Keone Kela
  9. I saw seven prospects ahead of Julio Rodriguez, which immediately signaled this is going to be a wild list. I also can’t agree with having 20 different prospects over CJ Abrams in a dynasty league. But then I saw both my prospects Jackson Rutledge and Tucker Davidson on the top 100... carry on. This one’s got some really aggressive rankings, especially the fresh 17 year old IFA names we haven’t seen a pro AB yet.
  10. Most interesting part of Scott Mitchell’s top 10 article:
  11. It’s too top heavy. Aside from their 6 top 100 prospects, the 2 borderline top 100 prospects and twenty catchers and shortstops with hit tools, there’s like no depth.
  12. Had they drafted Martin, we’d likely end up with either Zac Veen or Nick Gonzales. Both are still really good bats, but Austin Martin was the dream scenario for the Jays. Plus he fits like a glove at 3B.
  13. The pod was interesting. It’s no secret that Buffalo’s Sahlen field was a home field advantage last season and visitors hated traveling to Buffalo, but to hear actual Blue Jays acknowledge it to the point that they rather play in Buffalo than Dunedin just to keep the advantage is surprising. Buffalo was weirdly one of the better offensive parks last season. And yet according to Borucki we will see “twice as many” dingers than Buffalo if they end up playing in Dunedin due to closer fences in the new park and humidity in Florida. I guess if we’re going to try and outscore every other team, this is one way to go about it.
  14. Welcome AG Send some trades over to Real Baseball Guys when you get a chance to look over your roster
  15. Can someone kindly link the video?
  16. 1. CF Springer 2. SS Bichette 3. DH Teoscar 4. 2B Semien 5. LF Gurriel 6. 1B Vlad Jr 7. 3B Biggio 8. RF Grichuk 9. C Jansen/Kirk
  17. Just came on to say I really like this move. Cheers
  18. Looking to acquire a draft pick (#30-60) or make a pick upgrade from #89, 92, 109 Pm or send offers to Real Baseball Guys
  19. What?
  20. The Jays gave up practically nothing to get him for two seasons. Previous year Robbie Ray is worth a lot more than this and they just basically reallocated Chase Anderson‘s money.
