  1. I heard they’re using a new ball and it’s less “lively” compared to the dinger fest we saw the past two seasons.
  2. BA had a similar ranking and Jays were #3 on their list. https://www.baseballamerica.com/rankings/2021-mlb-organization-talent-rankings/
  3. Tomorrow’s game is getting TV broadcast?
  4. Hard to see Hoglund falling to #19 now
  5. With the amount of shenanigans the team went through to keep Elvis Luciano, I’m hoping he’s more than just a middle reliever. Though I want to see his performance in double-A before making any judgment calls, it’s kinda hard to pump his tires at this point.
  6. Keep an eye on this guy
  7. I’m not the highest guy on Royce Lewis as his hit tool is still questionable, but there’s enough people that believes in him to maintain his elite prospect status for four years straight. 2018 BA #24 2019 BA #9 2020 BA #26 2021 BA #29 He might make his debut this year, so it really depends if you believe in his bat. On paper he’s worth more than Paredes and Garcia, but Lewis stock can start declining dramatically if he continues to struggle hitting in the upper minors and MLB. He had a really good showing before covid (seems like decades ago) during the AFL and took home MVP honours, so there’s some glimpses his bat could bounce back. Also a question mark which position he settles in for the Twins. He also drew some Springer comps for his raw tools, but production wise Springer demolished the upper minors where Lewis has struggled in smaller sample.
  8. Up to 98 on FB and 90 on the slider. Still throwing gas and grunting his way out of the rough start. Torkelson almost took him deep, but fouled and struckout after.
  9. He’s almost 22 so should be draft eligible
  10. Against the Orioles.. Grichuk 2.0 confirmed.
  11. I’m still kinda hoping he settles into 3B/SS
  12. OF depth Springer Gurriel jr Teoscar (DH) Grichuk Davis Palacios Young
  13. Done thanks! Wish I can drop guys and make more space RIP draft room
  14. Looking to acquire a 2021 6th rounder for my 2022 6th, please send offer thanks!
  15. That’s a little unfair for JBJ, he’s been a grade above Pillar imo. JBJ has a career .321 OBP and 9.3% walk rate with an ISO .173. Being left handed helps and he’s also been able to stay healthy since 2016. Playing between 133-156 games per season. Pillar has a career .299 OBP and 4.1% walk rate with an ISO .146 as a right handed hitter. He’s got a tick more stolen bases but JBJ grades better in other metrics. Pillar K’s a bit less, but his WOBA is also lower by a tier. The bench mark is not too high for a plus glove centerfielder. On a non-covid year, 30 yr old JBJ is definitely worth 24M/2yr while Pillar is not really worth it.
  16. Infield defense was a real question mark last season, kinda hoped adding Semien + moving Biggio would work out and so far looks promising. Now if only skinny Vlad can catch popups we can start planning the Dunedin parade route
  17. Not being able to do this makes draft room much less appealing
  18. We’re not allowed to draft guys that already made their debut right?
  19. I can understand why they allow managers to end innings, but honestly kinda sucks because running up the score is fun and watching Austin Martin demolish struggling pitcher is also fun.
  20. These guys are all available for a 2022 pick
