    The hitting has been abysmal this series for both teams. Hardly any baserunners and a total of 6 runs scored in 26 innings up to this point.

    Okay let's end this: Blue Jays in 2016 entering today: Singles: 544 (27th in MLB) Doubles: 189 (T-5th in MLB) HRs: 150 (2nd in MLB) BBs: 409 (2nd in MLB) Elite power hitters up and down the order hit for both power and walk a ton. They're on base a lot. The home runs are an obvious boon, but this is hardly a team who "waits" for home runs. Or we could play like the Royals with their 693 singles, complemented by 90 home runs and 242 BBs.
