The pisser is that this really wasn't an "8th inning" situation. This was a high leverage situation, which (should be) thought of as a lot different (not that I'm saying you don't see that).
Though I'm not 100% sold on either Sanchez or Osuna, I'm okay with giving them clean innings with a lead. Those innings obviously have to go somewhere, and a clean inning is as low leverage a situation as possible. Super context-heavy situations like last night require lot more matchup-playing and skill-set usage. Lowe is a good swing-miss option. Should have been used (which, of course, doesn't guarantee he'd have succeeded, but just that you need to use all your tools as best as possible, else why have them?).
