    What's scary about the Royals is that they're still missing their best player.

    Three out of the four wins v. the Yankees this past week were led by the Donaldson-Bautista power duo. Yankee killers. Feels good to have the superstars be the difference makers. (And, of course, that pitching.)

    Are you saying this as a bad thing or a good thing? I really have no problem with it. Mostly because the bigger bench that NL rules force means the pitcher's spot can become a power threat at any time (Colabello, Smoak, etc).

    My posting has probably taken an uptick lately since I've been taking part in a lot of GDTs, but I admit I don't post all that often in general. Not sure this matters though since if I'm given a job to do I'll make time to do it.

    Even more facepalm worthy when you realize they cut Valencia one month before September roster expansion. Sending someone down for Danny V's sake didn't even have to be final. Just send Loup down (or Schultz). Convince yourself they're on the DL if you really need the peace of mind.

    Loup seems like the odd man out, but yeah. It's not like he wasn't an odd man out two weeks ago when Valencia got the shaft. Whatever move they're making probably isn't as important as not losing a productive back-up corner infielder.

    As long as the guy isn't spamming weird stuff every post, I think we can excuse a few off-colour posts or a slip of the tongue. We're not exactly handing out knighthoods here.

    I guess it's hard to argue against those numbers. I think it's that his failures (or BABIPs) have been in some pretty high stakes situations and it sours a lot of fans. There have been games when he's been seeing-eye singled to death. Bad result, but I don't think he's doing much different than what he's done in past seasons? He looks a bit shakier, but he's still striking out 10 per 9, so wtf. I missed a lot of games earlier in the season, so I don't have a good visual memory of most Loup outings. I've been seeing more games lately but obviously Gibby is going with his other pen options a lot more, so.

    I like the idea that there is Trump-like candidate who, instead of basing his candidacy on irrational dislike of immigrants, is running on an anti-dinosaur platform. He cites Jurassic Park as evidence of what this oppressed minority is capable of but doesn't realize a lot of his constituents have a little bit of anti-sabr in them and just want a better forum for their stegosaurus children.

    If it helps swing any votes my way, I will propose a forum law that if you post ridiculous hyperbolic statements, you have to follow through and provide proof. So when Box claims he'd rather eat a truck load of dick, he has to follow through on punishment of ban. Other than that, seems like a lot of good posters are nominated. I haven't read the whole thread though. Frankly I'm surprised that even this forum could burn through three threads on this issue in one Saturday evening.
