I guess it's hard to argue against those numbers. I think it's that his failures (or BABIPs) have been in some pretty high stakes situations and it sours a lot of fans. There have been games when he's been seeing-eye singled to death. Bad result, but I don't think he's doing much different than what he's done in past seasons?
