  1. I most definitely believe his beard makes him lean.
  2. Definitely causing him to fall to the right, chin heavy. He doesn't deserve to have it anyway.
  3. Favourite Positional Player: Bautista I really haven't been in love with Bautista the last couple of years, mostly because of his attitude but this year he's won me over with his new approach to the plate. He's the most well rounded player on the team and much more likable than in year's past. Favourite Out of the Pen: Janssen There's no one else I'd rather have closing out games, he knows his role, gets the job done and always seems happy Favourite Rotation: Buerhle There's no doubt Hutch is going to be here long term and hopefully a top of the rotation arm for us, but I don't know him well enough yet to call him my favourite. I've enjoyed Buerhle ever since he was with Chicago. The guy is about as real as it gets, never hot tempered, consistent on the mound and there's simply nothing I dislike about him.
  4. LOL Janssen just comes in and showed Delebar how the F its done
  5. I can't keep up, I thought Stroman took Hendricks' spot. Who got sent down for Stro?
  6. Yea I never tried in the states, just at hotels and since my bedroom doesn't have the box, I don't get sportsnet One up there so I output the HD from the laptop.
  7. He's the first productive LFer we've had in years, maybe even a decade. All I know is I don't want to see prospects platooning LF again.
  8. http://www.rogersondemand.com/Live/Sports?lang=en You just need to register, I did it so long ago I don't remember how. Maybe with your rogers account number or your rogers email.
  9. If you have Rogers just login to rogers on demand and you can stream TSN, TSN2, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet One. Easiest way to watch a jays game in HD if you're on the road or working while a game is on.
  10. A is EE and B is Bautista? I think EE just hit his 200th home run before his May outburst so 214 is about right.
  11. If you trade Juan, EE is going to cry.
  12. Over 43K went to the game last year for JPA bobblehead day. That's a true story.
  13. No that isn't anything what I said. That would make us a .500 club overall. A closer to .500 club here on out makes us a 9 or 10 game above .500 team with over 90 wins and a good chance at the playoffs. If you're expecting so much, where does it end? You are anticipating a 100 win team?
  14. See you're only expecting higher than 91 wins now because of a hot streak. Every season has highs & lows, we haven't hit the lows yet. Maybe it's the years of mediocrity talking here but yes overall a realistic winning % is closer to .500 than .750 over the next 4 month period. I'd rather be set up for a surprise than a let down at this stage.
  15. 9 games above .500 puts them at 91 wins. Expecting much more than that is setting yourself up for disappointment. Realistic expectations easily get lost when a team goes on an winning tear that's simply unsustainable.
  16. Yea I know, only thing to add is that probably half of the tv audience aren't actually cheering for the argos lol.
  17. I would hope a pro team winning their division in a shortened 18 game season would draw a larger TV audience than a team playing a 162 saturated one... Doesn't mean their fan base is larger just that each game of football is vastly more important than baseball.
  18. While there were definitely more memorable games & better overall performances, I have to go with Lawrie. With the hype surrounding him and within his first week of getting called up, seeing him smash that grand slam and how pumped he got was something I've since rewatched at least a dozen times online.
  19. It's not about if it can support the argos or not, it's that Rogers owns it and they want their ball team to have their own grass field and bring in fans to make real money for them. Leasing it out and accommodating 8 games to the argos is a waste of their time & money since they want to reconfigure the stadium for primarily baseball.
  20. A meatball looks like a beachball right now to EE.. he wouldn't be poking that to right field.
  21. Just because his foot wasn't on the green carpet (calling it grass makes me quiver), doesn't mean you shouldn't be ready. He should have gotten back.
  22. I get the hatred towards Reyes... the 27th out is the bitch of the night but the TSN turning point was Cabrera getting picked off and our insurance run removed.
