    Ah thank you, I just googled for the update there. I missed the weekend games and didn't realize he's injured. Makes a little more sense now. Still think we're short an OF.

    Maybe if we had a 7 man BP and 4 outfielders then that makes sense, but we have an 8 man pen and 2 catcher's who lead the AL in most offensive categories for their position. Gose is way more needed right now.

    I don't understand any of these latest moves, let alone the fantasy line up above. Why is Eric Kratz even here as a 3rd catcher when we only have 3 outfielders? Why isn't Gose here as our 4th outfielder? Why was Stroman brought up to play mid relief role and when he should be starting today? Why isn't Getz playing 2B and Francisco the power bat off the bench while Gose should be the speed? Minus the core of this team, everything is backwards and who made these decisions, AA or Gibby? [/rant]

    It's easy to say that now, but look at Jimenez who basically got the same deal in the AL East and is getting pounded. You roll the dice. If the Jays don't pick up Morrow's option he'll be available in the form of a discount at a similar rate to Johnson. $8M + Bonus for getting 75% of his expected starts which could translate in to $10M and the Jays kick themselves that they could have had him for that price.

    All I know is I hate seeing our roster with the same amount of outfielders as we do catchers.

    Navarro is batting .410 in his last 10 games and hitting over .300. We could always trade him to Texas for JP if you'd prefer.

    As long as Tolleson can bunt guys over it's an upgrade... Diaz has to be held accountable for that lackluster bunt attempt in the 7th inning. Failed too many times.
