  1. Well each K represents strike 3... You put a K backwards to avoid the KKK reference... someone just always seems to f*** that up.
  2. How come everyone who hangs the K posters never seem to get every 3rd one backwards properly? #notrocketscience
  3. Where they are at in the order, he should get through 6.
  4. C'mon... Dickey & Buerhle are men and can handle that workload just fine. If you want to do something split the 5th starter role but don't take away everyone else's innings.
  5. To be a little more fair on McGowan, that 4 pitch walk to start the 5th had a couple in the zone and the HBP didn't actually hit Lough who he had 2 strikes on... Really could have been a different outcome that inning. I don't mind if Redmond & McGowan essentially switch roles, he's earned it though management should really know more about their starters limits and not have tried to stretch McGowan out to 100pitches which he hadn't done in several years.
  6. Last year the media created the hype, this year the team has to prove they are worthy to get those fans back.
  7. Good call actually. This seems most realistic if things don't change.
  8. Agreed Happ is a wasted spot but I don't see why McGowan should be moved to the BP yet and who would you call up this early? Stroman? Jenkins? All things considered McGowan has done good for a 5th starter and no one expects him to be pitching deep in to games. More expectations should be on guys like Morrow & Dickey, even Hutch to be eating more innings. Think of McGowan's 3 starts... His first big league start in 3 years was home opener (no pressure) and his last start was in 0C weather... Cut him some slack. Happ on the other hand, who know what to do. If they can get just an ounce of worth out of him being a long arm when games are out of reach, they might be able to salvage something via trade, even a pick and eat some $. Jays are too cheap to buy out his $4.5m contract and they can't send him down from veteran status.
