    Makes me so happy watching Swisher not come up with the ball. Just want to see someone stick their tongue out as they jog the bases past him.

    Jays have been soul searching for a solid offensive left fielder since like... Frank Catalanotto or Shannon Stewart days... it would be ridiculous if they let him walk, they just can't fill that hole.

    I don't think he'll end up on the level of excellence unless he somehow leads them to a WS in the next couple years. Lets see Roy Halladay make that list first before we saturate it. I don't know where he ranks. I think he needs a couple full healthy seasons to surpass even Delgado who gave us 12 years, 8 of which had 30+ HR seasons.

    Give Roger some more time? In 4.5 seasons he sports a career 5.58 ERA with a 1.59 WHIP. More time isn't going to fix him. Why would you DFA Redmond? If Happ does an average job at best he could be trait bait for a team looking for injury replacement just as we did when we picked him up by giving up 5 prospects for him (though dumping Cordero was a plus).

    Obvious Prediction: Just as Dickey gets rolling I bet now is when they shut him down because his arm is in "danger" from being over 100 pitches (insert rolls eyes picture). Then the bullpen will blow the game wide open and afterward Mike Wilmer defends the horrifying result with words like "under performing", "long season", "only 1 blown game in the 9th", "other team blow saves too". Prove me wrong please.

    Fair enough... Most deals probably happen in the evening when GMs across North America are all working at the same time (pacific being 3hrs behind) and half their work day is during their team's game. When deals usually include multiple players, the odds are at least 1 of them would be playing.
