    Cherry picking years to make stats sound important... are you a social media journalist? The Jays have played in more ALCS series than the Red Sox since 2015. Fact, there are zero players from the 2018 Red Sox who play for them today... There's only one team with a winning culture at the moment between the two.

    Keep in mind heritage doesn't mean winning culture, we've had winning culture for the past 10 years. We lack baseball heritage because we haven't been around for 125-150 years. Also, we were very competitive with Clemens but Yankees built a dynasty by that time. We would have been a postseason team by today's rules.

    If someone is being optimistic, responding by being dismissive or trying to put them in their place is going to invite pushback. That doesn’t justify the insults, but it does explain the escalation. It’s a forum for the AL Champs, if your approach is consistently negative, expect people to respond accordingly.

    They didn't start any personal attacks but knowing when to let things go would be good. Attacking someone for saying when Barger comes back it could help spark the line up is unacceptable and just opened the door for back and forth. You also didn't help the situation by bringing it back up mid game, that derailed the entire game thread FYI. Just let it go.

    We know what Bichette brings over a season and there is no question he was a pivotal part of this team's success, even in an injured season like last year. He got himself one of the richest deals in MLB and you can't be mad at that. I hope he does well with NY.
