  1. Some guy named Ohtani went 3/4 with a grand slam and they say he can pitch. We should try to sign him.
  2. That's adorable. Daddy has made $390m+ in his career and is coming back for a paltry $3m for his daughter.
  3. Even though that's a Coors Field special, that was a booooomb.
  4. Give him a bobblehead day and a key to the city. Enjoy your well deserved retirement and thank you for being the voice for all the years.
  5. I just turned off my adblocker lol. YES I googled G-Shock watch on Monday, that one time 🤦‍♂️
  6. As a web dev, majority of users on mobile rarely have ad blockers. It's probably more to do with device use (people using the site at work for example, like myself). Check the analytics?
  7. "Guy's guy" See my footer. Now let's move on.
  8. Okamoto and Santander I think.
  9. lol Bichette gets announced officially in their presser and MLB posts highlights of Bellinger signing with the first out crippling Bichette..... that's a little low.
  10. I'm totally fine without Bellinger. I kept that guy for a few seasons in fantasy and he was hot every other year and I don't care to find out why.
  11. Cannot be disappointed in how it played out except just give the Dodgers the finger.
  12. I hope everything goes well.
  13. My only concerns at this point is are we getting 2025 Springer or 2024 Springer (He is turning 37 this year) and we still have to watch Hoffman close out games. You can't convince me his playoff run is what we can expect from him in the 9th.
  14. Kind of my point... Sometimes money only goes so far. If wife prefers to be in LA where the travel is likely easier with a newborn (ahem Tucker) what are you going to do?
  15. At least we have ownership who is willing to spend and go after these guys. It feels different right now and it's still a hard sell to free agents to commit moving to another country for 7-10 years and deal with customs for 7 months of the year. Everyone knows it's a pain in the ass and the least attractive part of signing here. If Dodgers or NY are throwing FU money around you just take your shot and force them to overpay at worst.
  16. I mean.... they went for the better player and had cash to spend. There's also a chance Bo was checked out of Toronto long ago.
  17. Hot damn.... missing out on both is painful. The good news is both went to NL teams and this isn't us vs Dodgers or us vs Mets in any capacity. We are a better team than we were last year, Bo & Tucker hit the market at the perfect time with no real positional player stars coming to market for a few years. I'm happy for Bo to be honest, we weren't going to pay that and he got his bag. He might be back in a few years, who knows.
  18. I'm never reading rumours again. See you all in March.
  19. I'm not even getting work done thanks to this s***.
  20. With the next 2 years being such a weak FA market, I guess this is the season you need to overpay if you got cash to spend.
  21. No one should be allowed to sign for 50m when the lowest payroll in baseball is 70m but here we are lol.
  22. At this point I don't care if we get Tucker or Bo but please sign one of 'em quick so I can stop refreshing.
  23. I couldn't live with Straw being in our line up every day for 2 years...
  24. At the very least maybe it makes signing future players from Japan easier.
