    Apparently MLB wants the environment consistent all postseason or something, at least that's what my friend told me who is drunk about 50% of the day so grain of salt.

    I don't know, hard to say but I'd still rather Upton in early as it seems like a +EV decision. It's also a pretty bold move to risk running through your entire bullpen a 2nd time in 3 days.

    Even at 1, he'd probably have a more productive at bat and provide more value against anyone not named Miller.

    I'd rather Upton have at least 2-3 at bats against a minor league lefty over 1AB against Miller and keep Saunders on the bench for Allen.

    ... Bautista was asked a question about Merritt and how the Jays will prepare for a guy who has 1 MLB start. When you ask that type of question you are insinuating the Jays should be concerned about facing a minor league pitcher. He answered the question by saying we'll watch video and see how his ball moves. He then even added "it could go either way". So who gives a s*** if he said he'll "probably be shaking in his boots more than we will". He answered the stupid question. Everyone takes things out of context from a video title as if that's all he said. Yes it's a stupid saying and maybe he could have just used the word nervous instead to get his point across, but it's not like that was his only answer to the question.

    I like the concept but I don't think the amount of travel is really feasible. Baseball isn't hockey, they play every day for 6 months and I think more travel would be harder on some players, jet lag alone would be torture. Not to mention, divisions create better rivalries.

    I just don't think there's more than 1 year left in him. I think if he gets signed next year that's probably going to be it.

    This was in the 100s about about row 10. The father in me was looking around for kids but didn't see any within a couple rows in front or behind. But yea... I think they could literally cut off drinking at 7th inning but they'd be losing too much $ to do that.

    Yesterday in the 8th a fight broke out just down from where I was near the right foul pole. Few punches thrown then a guy was jersey'd at one point lol. At first I thought the guy in the red jersey was from Cleveland, nope just a Canada Day jersey and our classy fans fighting each other. Cops took them away of course.

    The upper 500s are $115 CAD face value, the cheapest right now on stubhub for today's game including fees are $95 USD which converts to $125 CAD. Still pretty good though an will definitely lower towards game time.

    Yea I don't think anyone had the pitching advantage in game 1, except perhaps a well rested Indians bullpen. Kluber was beatable early on but we let him off the hook. It was just one of those games we couldn't capitalize on which we've become quite accustom to this season.

    He was only joking I'm sure, I thought you deserved to just run with it because after September nobody ran hot. I don't think people realized the midnight starts weren't to 'steal the GDT' but to continue the same winning routine that got us here from your first one
