  1. Every league has its own flaws. The nature of the sport creates different challenges to try to provide the most entertainment and ensure the best team wins. I hate when I hear "NBA sucks because the best team always wins" or "MLB is a joke because all you have to do is get in to the playoffs to win a championship". Just embrace what that sport/league offers. No system is ever going to be perfect.
  2. Probably would have taken Reggie Pruitt with his first pick. Half his team is f***ing Jays lol.
  3. Exactly. As he matures you would expect some of the doubles to turn into HRs which will affect the BABIP too.
  4. I don't think Frenchsoup is active anymore. He sat Happ, Bautista and Pillar. Also has Travis and Ellsbury in the SL while they are on the DL. I'm not great when it comes to setting my lineup but at least I'm in contention so its only hurting me.
  5. Almost hitting .400 lol. The BABIP is ridiculous but from the sounds of it he just kills the ball to all fields so maybe not unrealistic to expect it to be in the high .300s.
  6. Also reminds you how fast time flies when you can remember Tanner Houck getting drafted by the Blue Jays.
  7. This year and last year I haven't been able to follow the names as much to the point where I'm not even sure I know 10 guys who would go in the first round. Remember 2011-2014 I followed the draft leading up to it way more to where I seemed to know all the players going in the first 50 picks
  8. And very likely would have with a non-Osuna pitcher as well!
  9. Jays had a 98.6% win probability when Osuna came into the game.
  10. Gibbons seems to go to Osuna a lot with 2 outs and a >3 run lead.
  11. I remember how so many people hated how the Jays were rumoured to take Trea Turner when they had those 2 top picks in 2014. Now he looks like a top 3 player from that draft. Better not to make a fuss about who the team picks because who knows how they will develop in a few years.
  12. He was 15/16?
  13. Did you watch the series in Oakland? He's putting up good results offensively but his defense has been a trainwreck. Literally the second worst DRS among OFers and bottom 10 among all positions. You have to play him because the other options are terrible but the team should upgrade LF if they hope to contend my season's end.
  14. Osuna has stepped it up a notch this year. Slider is unhittable. 2BB and 33SO
  15. Gibbons was pretty suspect tonight. Geez
  16. It'd be one thing if he committed a violent crime. He molested a little girl... You learn not to do that when you are like 9, and he was basically the age you are allowed to drive a car. Its not even about him anyway you have to think how it would effect his teammates around him.
  17. Not a chance he gets drafted. No matter where he gets drafted there would be a massive outcry from fans and media. No one wants to associate there brand with a child molester honesty its worse than a murderer. Maybe if it was a top 5 talent but he's not even a top 50 pick talent.
  18. Friday games always are way less than Sat and Sun.
  19. Not sure why players get married so early on. Russel is friggen only 23 years old. Theres probably over 100 groupies at every Cubs hotel just hoping they can even get close to one of the players. Hard to resist that temptation.
  20. I think she said he hit her in front of their kids. Even if its true a bad thing can happen where it basically opens up the airways for random girls to say s*** on social media and can blackmail athletes.
  21. Goins has such an ugly bat path. When he swings at breaking balls he misses them by like a foot.
  22. Who thinks Carerra makes that catch?
  23. What we thought would be a big strength coming into this year has been a disaster. Jays have been a bottom 5 defensive team.
