No they don't. Jose Bautista participated in a home run derby in spring training at a local event. Didn't seem to effect the start of his season.

That trade has not worked out for them one bit so far. -
if they lose tomorrow and get swept against the Yankees that will be very discouraging and their playoff chances will take a hit but would still be in reach even then. Really hope they can win 3 of the next 4 games but would be alright with 2.
