  1. Brutal Defence Rasmus you could of just ran it down.
  2. A good 8 inches high. Catcher didn't even frame it all that well just a bad call.
  3. f***in Umpires are so bad at their jobs. 3 pitches all way upstairs. Calls one a ball and two a strike. All right after each other. Unreal
  4. Tabby saying the infield which includes Jeter at SS has been deserving of being in the ASG.
  5. Ump stole an extra run from the Blue Jays. Reyes strike 2 was 5 inches high.
  6. Defence already hurting the Blue Jays. If Edwin is at first and Gose in RF both those hits are outs.
  7. I think for this club it is better that they are good at developing pitching prospects rather than position players. Because of the ball park it is much easier to find a position player free agent compared to a free agent pitcher.
  8. Its a shame the Senators are being run into the ground by one of sports truly awful owners in Melnyk. That organization actually has so much potential with guys like Karlsson, Turris, Mcarthur, Ryan and Lehner. Even with such a limited budget they could have done way better than Michalek for 3 year/12 million who has concrete knees. I mean Hemsky got that same contract and is head and shoulders the better player. Side Note: the Dallas Stars are going to be a fun team to watch next season. Top 6 F might have the most skill of any in the NHL.
  9. I would have never guessed it but according to Fangraphs the most valuable pitch by a member of the Blue Jays this season has been a JA Happ fastball...I don't think anyone would have guessed that coming into the season. Side note Dickey's knuckler is the worst pitch by a large margin. http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=pit&lg=all&qual=0&type=7&season=2014&month=33&season1=2014&ind=0&team=14&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0
  10. That was my thought as well. Didn't really find anything when trying to look him up. Would be nice if there was a "Chris King" that was solely at the Blue Jays complex as he seems to travel to different complexes with the Phillies being a constant.
  11. While that statement is true for sports like football and basketball, I don't believe that is true for baseball. Position players really don't play against each other but rather the pitchers. Baseball is a team game that is all about individual matchups. And because teams play so many games over the course of the season let down games don't really exist. Now if a team has an extra inning game and has to fly to a a different city for a game the day after, I think travel can have an advantage in that case.
  12. Kevin Pillar was over age at every level. Mookie is only 21 and like you said has very good plate discipline. Boston is pretty much out of it and has little to no chance of winning the division. Most Boston people should know this.
  13. Latin free agency is such a crapshoot. These guys are so young that there is always the guys who sign for under 500k that turn into big time prospects. I don't really have a problem with signing a lot of the cheaper guys with projection. Trust the scouts and then develop.
  14. Deiferson Barreto has put up pretty good numbers and has a really nice walk and k rate. What is the scouting report on him? Also plays an up the middle position.
  15. I don't think he gets that much. I think he would come back to TO for something like 3/24 which is a lot but I think I would do it.
  16. I would never get a jersey of a reliever but thats my advice.
  17. Where have there been trade rumours about him besides a select few on this board? lol
  18. That slider isnt even swingable. Might as well throw the high heat.
  19. I wish Santos could step up his game and actually pitch well so we could use him in the 8th innings. Instead we have Mcgowan who seems to be walking tight rope every time he comes in.
  20. I have zero confidence in Mcgowan. Hopefully he can prove me wrong.
