The defence really is bad. Its already well below average right now and in 3 years time could be scary. I'm not sure 2nd base is an option either because he has bad range and a bad glove. Arm is the only thing thats plus.

I think he's brought a lot of value in making the relievers better that follow him ie the Dickey Effect. But hi actual performance has been underwhelming to say the least.

Maybe its a good thing we don't know the numbers of what guys signed for. It definitely takes away leverage for the guys that have not yet signed.

Yeah but if you can make $45,000 a year out of school because of your degree or do you want to sign for a 2,000 and make 1K a month? Seems like a pretty easy decision to me.

Teams must have done studies on whether it would be worth it or not. Say for example you had a 5 Million dollar draft budget and spent 20 million signing all these hard signs for 1 or 2 million each. You would get taxed on the overage so really you would be spending about 30 million. is 30 million$ worth it when you might get the increased value of maybe 7 or 8 guys that are worth 2nd or 3rd round picks in talent?

I will be going to New York in a week and a half for the game on June 17. Anyone have any recommendations for going to the stadium and the must sees? Much appreciated.

Our luck is a yo-yo. Shouldnt of got on base twice there becasue of bad defence. Then we hit into a line drive triple play..
