  1. Well Seattle also will get to play the 2 worst teams Texas and Houston so it balances out a little bit.
  2. Same reason they forgot Castro. Probably did not spend enough time doing the team top 20s.
  3. He pitched 120 innings last year combined with AA and AFL so he should be able to throw at least 150 this year. He's thrown 100 so far which would mean 50 more innings if you go by that estimate. With 56 games left in the regular season you could say 11 starts left for each pitcher. Not a stretch to see him reach that 150 IP by mid September but if this team is in a playoff race and he is not showing any fatigue there is no way you can shut him down. I think Stroman should be able to handle the workload because he has a really athletic delivery and hasn't had any arm trouble in the past. Knock on wood.
  4. Mlb.com seems to not let current performance cloud their rankings too much.
  5. I noticed that as well. Maybe they think he is older than he is listed? Apparently Pentecost was number 101 on the list, so pretty much top 100. Really suprised Pompey was ranked so low.
  6. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/prospects/watch/y2014/#list=tor Blue Jays top 20
  7. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/prospects/watch/y2014/#list=prospects 4 Blue Jays on the top 100. Norris 29 Sanchez 40 Pompey 95 Hoffman 97
  8. Has to be Stroman. He is the best pitcher on the staff. Honestly I would not want Buehrle pitching it. Too many balls put into play and his command hasn't been the greatest this year.
  9. Also cripples the franchise completely in like 2-3 years. If the Phillies add like 30 million and take on Romero as well it still isnt that great a trade for the Blue Jays.
  10. Tomorrow's game is on National TV on ESPN too. Hopefully we have a good performance.
  11. The Bluejays. Don't want another Marlins deal. Way too much money for the Jays to take on.
  12. I agree. Sounds like a pretty enticing prospect. If he keeps it up seems like he has a good chance of being a 3 WAR CF with potential for more and a pretty decent floor.
  13. 3-4 now. Really seems to be adjusting to AA. Although I hear he was having good Abs right when he was up there but just didn't have the hits to show for it. Really encouraged by his SO/walk ratio.
  14. Lol Melky actually had good range on that play. Im sure he ran a bit harder than he would of if that was the 1st inning.
  15. That was just a lucky run. Great pitch by Sanchez and Beltran just put a good swing on it.
