  1. Easy Outs? Blue Jays have had a ton of guys on base so far.
  2. I meant lucky for the pitcher as not many CFs catch that ball.
  3. Why let these guys swing with ball 3. twice they have swung at ball 4.
  4. Wouldn't say its bad effort but he just is not effective at this Stadium. Flyball pitchers in YS are not good.
  5. MB seems to walk a decent number of batters for someone who is supposed to have pinpoint command.
  6. Ump forgetting about the inside strike. Reminds me of Angel.
  7. He's probably thinking about the short porch and his swing is getting long which makes him more prone to strikeout.
  8. This. I think there is still value to targeting position players to team friendly deals early in their careers. Lawrie seems obvious that you don't need to do that becasue most of his value is tied to his defence. Maybe you sign him to something if he is going to play 2nd base because he could get a larger contract on the open market as a 2nd baseman. Still the injury concern is pretty high that I don't think you would want to risk it.
  9. This goes back to the point you need guys to produce this year. You trade for a guy to produce this year to help the team, not take on a project. You need players that will help the team win this year and can't afford Barnes to have time to turn it around.
