  1. Dickey unraveling after looking so good.
  2. The Longoria one that won the game was a wall scraper right at that low part of the wall.
  3. Ugly swings on the curveball.
  4. If the Blue Jays had followed the Rays win path this season I would not be surprised to see 12000-15000 for a weeknight game. Looks like maybe 7000 at the trop lol.
  5. Coming into the season with Goins as a 2nd baseman is the biggest reasons this team is not playing meaningful baseball right now.
  6. The way I said that might of confused people. He said he wanted to get an established 2nd or 3rd baseman becasue they have had a lot of part time players the last couple years. Then went on to say that OF is a big need because 2 of the starters are currently free agents and that the last month would give the team a good chance to see a couple guys that could play on the team next season (Gose and Pillar is what I assume he was talking about without saying their names directly)
  7. I thought what he said was more about a Gose/Pillar platoon in CF than anything, which is fine by me.
  8. AA was just on PTS. Main takeaways I got were: -Really wants to find a 2nd or 3rd baseman for next year. Biggest need besides the OF in which he says the final month will be telling if they can fill one of those needs with guys in house -Morrow was open to being a reliever for the last month -Bautista and Edwin could be signed to long term deals as they seem like players who could age well and play in their late 30s -Payroll gets decided at the end of the season and is determined based on revenues from things like attendance and tv numbers IMO Doesn't sound like they will be selling anytime soon
  9. I doubt you see him start unless the Jays really fall out of it. More likely to be a PR/defensive replacement.
  10. So it looks like Tellez has indeed been sent to Vancouver for the playoffs.
  11. Why pillar over Gose?
  12. That he pitches well to help the team win games?
  13. If he could get more swinging strikes he would do it now...Reason he hasn't been throwing his change is because it is not a good pitch right now.
  14. 100% agree. Joe has such a great voice and will call out mistakes without being overly negative. I think Buck becomes a lot better with Joe in the booth as well as when he is with Tabby he goes off the rail.
  15. Rather see Rasmus used as a PH and have a Gose/Pillar platoon in CF for the rest of the year. That probably makes the Blue Jays better for the rest of the season anyways.
  16. I would of like the team to maybe sell high on Graveman in the offseason similar to Nestor Molina. I think he is going to get exposed in the big leagues . Don't understand the move since he didn't have to be on the 40 man. I am scared for this offseason. If AA picks up Mcgowan's option and non tenders Delabar I will not be thrilled.
  17. That statement can be applied to many who come up and fail. JBJ would be a recent example.
  18. Theres also 4 teams in front of us. Pointing out that a miracle happened doesn't mean we should expect one to happen.
  19. Rowdy Tellez went 3 for 3 today with a HR. If he can translate that raw power to games he looks to be an intriguing prospect.
  20. Blue Jays will still have to win around 20 games to make the playoffs no matter how much Seattle is getting beat by.
  21. When have we done that specific scenario under AA?
  22. My question though is if Vegas gets an NBA team which looks like it will happen sooner or later is how well does an NHL team do when there is 2 sports in town that are played at the same time of the year.
  23. In every one of those cities there are nice suburb areas like Yorkville would be to Toronto. Every city there are good areas and bad.
