Why? You have Donaldson who absolutely mashes LHP, not to mention Bautista and EE as well. 1-5 vs LHP should be Reyes, Donaldson, Bautsita, EE, Martin no matter what.

That would probably be the last thing I want them to do. Hamels is making free agent money and RAJ will ask for too much. -
I think they should spend the most money on SP but the biggest need is 2B and relief.

Wow this offence is firing on all cylinders. Team does a great job of putting guys on the court at their hot spots. Its not like there is tremendous ball movement or anything but guys just find open shots from where they are comfortable.

Jays have 3 of the best RH power hitters in the game. Crazy when you think about it.

Its not hard to think that Saunders is more valuable than Upton at this point taking salary and control into consideration.

I agree. If one of them looks really good in ST you can have slide Estrada to the bullpen in long relief. With 20 million to spend and potentially 25 if they get rid of Navarro, then we can still afford to sign a SP and fill out the bullpen.

This is exactly what I thought this team needed since Donaldson and Reyes have had their share of wild throws recently. EE really struggled picking balls in the dirt so even though it might not seem like much, having Smoak there could be save an underrated about of runs.

Yeah hes been a great loogy. I think he will be a guy who benefits a lot from Martin as well. Navarro seemed to struggle catching him which could explain the drastic increase in BB.

I'd bring him back for 1 year 2 million but I doubt he signs for that. Martin would help him out a bit more and if nothing else he'd be good depth for middle relief.

Maybe he learned from his mistakes and is now filling all the holes in the field and rotation? This is probably not the best timing to be displeased about AA lol.

I wonder if we can get a good deal on a SP now since AA has said pitchers have reached out to the Jays since Martin signed. Maybe Liriano? I think a signing of a guy like him or McCarthy would top off this offseason.

I think we know know why Estrada wasn't non-tendered yesterday. Have to keep some depth for that 5th starter. Love that this trade frees up some money as well.
