  1. ^ lol. Goes from no more 3s to nice 3 point shot in 2 min.
  2. A lot of open looks they usually make..
  3. Raps having a ton of trouble shooting.
  4. I know and thats why I don't think a deal gets done. No way you can give up a Norris. Norris as the 5th starter and Sanchez in the bullpen helps the team way more even without taking salary into the equation.
  5. Royals would probably want a piece closer to making an impact at the MLB level. If the Royals were to kick in money or take Romero back I would trade Osuna or Castro for Holland.
  6. Sounds like AA is just saying this for leverage.. Navarro would be a terrible fit at DH especially when they said they want to get EE off the turf and Smoak to play 1st base. I think at some point they will just take an offer to shed the salary.
  7. Is tampa even a good sports market? The lightning have done well recently but ticket prices are pretty cheap and they have one of the better teams and biggest stars in the NHL. The Bucs attendance has been awful for a while even around when they won the Superbowl.
  8. I blame Murray more than Mclean but the organization's failure starts at the top with Melnyk. The owner would rather make the playoffs as a bottom seed year than truly rebuild and get the impact talent it needs in the draft. This team is headed on a Maple Leafs treadmill unless real changes are made.
  9. Why should a trade of a different player affect whether or not a trade is an overpay? By this approach every pitching trade since Doug Fister has been an overpay.
  10. Well thats the thing...He has had teams that make the playoffs but are the Orioles really a good team? He drafted Gauserman and the signing for Cruz worked out really well but does he know how to make a team into a contender or did he just get lucky with this Orioles team. Interesting note from the Jeff Blair piece is AA will be fired if they don't make the playoffs. This is probably the worst thing to tell a GM because it increases the likelihood that he trades a ton of prospects for immediate needs.
  11. Does Dan Duquette have a good history as a GM? How is his drafting and player development? I'm not sure if he is an upgrade over AA and certainly Ken Williams is not. Rogers better be careful not to make a move that sets the franchise back another decade.
  12. What a joke. Management and Ownership continue to scapegoat another coach for their mistakes. This just isn't a talented team.
  13. Hate to break it to you but Navarro isn't getting Holland. It would take a starting pitcher and there is no way AA is moving a starter for him, even Dickey. I'd trade Buehrle for him but that likely isn't happening unless the Jays kick in a lot of cash, which would then handcuff them signing a starter.
  14. I have him in my other pool and am killing it. Look at this group of players in a 16 team league. Goalies are Andersen and Bobrovsky.
  15. Mika Zibanejad had a pretty good game tonight. While we are talking about Advanced Stats might as well bring up that Erik Karlsson had 23 shot attempts for tonight. Many people are saying the highest ever for one player in a game.
  16. I'm not counting MLS or AHL...
  17. Well that makes it 3 Toronto Sports teams that are looking for a new President/CEO now.
  18. Seattle would actually have a pretty good lineup with Melky.
  19. Yeah thats true. History suggests though that the new president almost always has some sort of a "regime" change. Sometimes they will wait a year or so to see what they have but it rarely lasts.
  20. Sure if its some scrub minor league player. Can he not just resign from his current position and leave anyway?
  21. This is such Blue Jays news when you think about it. Finally the Jays have a great offseason and then something like this happens... Watch AA get fired after he finally comes around.
  22. If I was the Blue Jays I would say screw you to compensation but good luck having your GM who has said he wants to leave to a division rival stay and run the team.
  23. Better than Kenny Williams. Why would they require compensation? The job would be a promotion from what he has currently, no?
  24. This Colts Browns game has been awful so far. Both Offences look like steaming garbage.
  25. His payroll was also one of the highest. Just go read what White Sox fans have to say about him and you will understand how bad he is.
