  1. Lead is only 7 anyways. Amir and Lowry are really the only players playing well.
  2. Not even close ha. Cavs are coming off a b2b with their stars playing heavy min. so I expect them to slow down a but as the game goes on. Raps offence is just not good. Missing a lot of open 3s.
  3. Ross has a wide open Lowry for a layup but yet gives it to Amir who gets fouled..Just that kinda night.
  4. IS it just me or does the crowd sound quiet?
  5. Just an awful job on the last 3 possessions of the Q. First you don't do a 2 for 1 and it ends up with a JJ contested 3, then Give up an offensive rebound for a easy 2 points.
  6. JJ is playing a bit too agressive on Lebron. If you crowd him he will blow by you.
  7. Well he did get fouled pretty hard but there still should of been a call against him to begin with. Looked like a missed charge too.
  8. Because you aren't running down the shotclock to 0 on every possession. For someone who seems to follow a lot of ball you should know this. The Raptors as a team shoot a 30.6 eFG% with 4-0 seconds left on the shot clock to put it into context. So 50% is a hell of a lot better than they are doing in late clock situations. http://stats.nba.com/team/#!/1610612761/tracking/shots/ Obviously its not the best comparison because you probably aren't getting a great shot off with no time left on the shot clock but it still puts it into perspective when you are running down the clock and not giving time for the opponent to have a possession.
  9. I am sure you could get way more than face value if you sell the extra tickets you can't make. Last year the prices were like $40 for 500 level for playoffs. People would be selling them for over 100 on stubhub.
  10. Yeah you get it before the general public but after full season ticket holders. Still pretty much guarenteed playoff priority.
  11. Well think of it as Navarro and Happ for Saunders. That still is a pretty good trade.
  12. You can transfer your tickets online and print them at home so you can still sell them that way.
  13. If you want to go to the premium games I would suggest getting the 20 ticket flex pack. If the majority of the games you go to are during the week and against not big market teams then you can get a discount on face value. Single game ticket prices will be increased this year too lets not forget.
  14. Why the hell does it matter if they are 3s or not? 10 3 pointers and one 2 point FG is the same as 16 two point FGs..... I hated the isos as much as anyone when they first ran them but Lou has done a pretty good job scoring and not leaving any time on the clock for the opposition to score. Im willing to bet that 50% eFG% is higher than average when closing out the Q.
  15. To give him different looks? What if you start JJ and he picks up 2 fouls in the first 3 min? I have no problem starting a lineup that has worked well not only this season but was one of the best last year. Vasquez is playing pretty well right now too and he is the kind of guy that might lose some confidence if you replace him.
  16. Even with cash included the deal is still a great one.
  17. Yeah thats what I would have him as too but he's a long way off from Sean Nolin as a guy who hasn't even pitched in full season ball. We saw Nicolino's Ks crumble once he reached AA.
  18. I wouldn't say that. Do small market teams get credit for not signing mega contracts that fail if they weren't even a possibility in the first place?
  19. Well we don't know what exactly took place. Kinsler blocked a trade which could of made the team significantly better. Last year's roster management was puzzling to everyone I am sure. I really don't get anything they did.
  20. Lester doesn't even have the QO attached so you might want to get your facts straight.
  21. Did you see him first hand? Because a guy who goes to the games who charts pitchers said he gives up some pretty loud contact and his FB and Change were below average. I think he is a guy who can take the next step but I don't see him as a top 20 prospect.
  22. They gain a draft pick if they don't.
  23. Exactly. Thats what makes AA a great GM in that sense. He is great at communication as it shows with his ability to sign players to under value contracts as well as get a lot of trades done. What should happen is AA use all his staff including the analytics guys and get opinions of what to do. AA then being the great negotiator he is, can get these trades and signings done even if he isn't the most analytically inclined person. I think that above scenario is exactly what has happened this offseason.
  24. 32 points on 32 shots is a pretty damn good % to close out the Q. You have to remember that milking the clock down to not let the other team have a possession has significant value. Also about the Vasquez/JJ starting thing, why mess with something thats working? I think Vasquez starts and if Lebron is just killing Ross then you take Vasquez out and sub JJ in. Vasquez usually only plays the first 6 min in the first Q anyways.
  25. I think that is why they got Smoak to play 1B. He apparently is good at picking balls in the dirt so that will help save Donaldson and Reyes. EE is terrible at it so the errors would likely go up if he was playing the majority at 1B. Random question but does Donaldson get a lot of his range defensive value from going to the massive foul territory at the Colliseum? He is going to make a ton more plays than average because of that and I would think Lawrie's numbers will show the same.
