    Blue Jays got 1.2 Million viewers on TV last night. You could make a reasonable case the Jays would outdraw the NHL playoffs tonight if both were showed on SN.

    He probably just wants the Vice President of Business Ops. to be focusing on more important decisions and leaving those duties to someone lower down in the chain of command. I don't have a problem with what he said and actually agree with it. You can let someone else in the org. answer all of those questions on Twitter, its not like you need one of the top guys in the org. spending so much time on general fan questions.

    If you are looking for a really nice place you should check out the rooftop lounge at the Hyatt on Avenue. Its really expensive ($20 cocktails) but it has the best view in the city. I'm not sure about the Astros but the Yankees usually stay there too.

    Miller replacing Brooks is good for the Blue Jays long term as he seems like a really smart guy. The Spring Training project seems to be a thing he will be working on a lot. As a STH I'm a little scared though. The pricing likely gets changed in a bad way for consumers.

    Having a bad grip on the ball would have more to do with walking guys than who was standing in the batter's box.

    Can't forget he's pitching in horrible weather.

    He might control a little of that. Obviously the sample is small but he's had a low BABIP in the 2 previous seasons and even in the minors had a below average BABIP. His Hard hit % is very low which I think help explains it. Now he isn't going to have a BABIP in the low .200s but around .280 isn't unrealistic.

    Poor guy, his 2 best friends on the team last year were Loup and Delabar who aren't on the team right now.

    Better question is who actually cares if Barry Davis is working or not? I understand if it was Shulman but its the f***ing sideline reporter of all people...

    Yeah it does seem concerning. If there is anything that makes me feel better about it his hard hit rate and batted ball profile last year look pretty similar to that of his career so I think the power should return. The strikeouts on the other hand seem like a bad trend.. In 2012 and 2013 his whiff rate was under 5% (incredible) but its crept all the way up to over 10%. Hopefully the new high perf. dept can do some magic.

    I know Tulo would never say it publicly but I wonder if he says he feels his past injuries have taken a toll on him physically. I mean last year's injury was pretty serious that everyone seems to just forget.

    Thing is there is no other Lefty on the roster. I'd rather use Cecil vs LHH with his current stuff than Gavin Floyd or Arnold Leon.

    I don't think he should be counted on to be that type of defender with his knee being the way it is.

    I was surprised he even threw 7, I barely remember him throwing it. Maybe he just didn't have the feel for it warming up.

    I generally ignore your posts but I actually agree with you here. Jays could swing at a few more first pitch fastballs. Seems like there have been more than a few times where the Jays are "taking" even if its a meatball centre cut.

    He's still one of the best players when you factor in his defence at catcher. He put on a clinic blocking balls in the dirt early in the game.

    4 losses by a combined 5 runs so far lol. Just like last year!

    I think I remember hearing Girardi say they all will never be used in the same game. 2 will pitch 8th/9th and save one so the pen they don't get overworked.
