  1. They've faced a lot of really good pitchers. Once pitchers start going down with injuries the Jays will start to play easier matchups.
  2. I'd like to see the numbers from last night. He did a really good job and got some strikes that weren't even close.
  3. The thing I hate is when they say well Pillar will get more Fastballs to hit batting in front of the big sluggers. Lets check the numbers... He's seen 56.1% fastballs this year which is even less than his career of 56.4%. He's actually done a good job cutting down on chasing out of the zone and he's not a horrible hitter. Just not the guy you want to lead off on this team. Saunders vs RHP makes too much sense.
  4. lol I meant to say who will finish with the higher strikeout rate at the end of the season.
  5. Who has the higher strikeout rate this year Sanchez or Stroman?
  6. Because they still can lose? Anything can happen. If Steph gets hurt the Spurs become the favs. Womens basketball has seen UCONN win like 150 games in a row or something crazy the same Org. you are claiming is the best.
  7. If it was so f***in easy you'd be rich... Get the hell outta here.
  8. LOL. You just said NBA is a snoozefest yet complimented College Basketball... NCAA ball is probably the least entertaining of them all. 30 Sec shot clock and most players are awful relative to the NBA. Watching Warriors and Spurs is the mecca of entertainment.
  9. Well Atkins is in charge now. Sounds like they will be doing some new stuff for the minors that should help players even more.
  10. I find NBA the best if my team isn't in it. I will pick watching the Spurs or Warriors in the playoffs over anything that isn't Jays. The first couple of rounds in the NBA playoffs suck but the Conference Finals and Finals are my favourite time to watch sports.
  11. Good FO and Development track record- Yes.
  12. Considering Reyes turned out to be like $40 Million of dead money you could say we got Tulo for 5/60 for Hoffman, Tinico, and Castro in a way. Hoffman looks pretty good but I'm not confident the Rockies will even be able to the same level of value out of the pitchers that a different Org. would.
  13. People seem to forget the massive boost the Jays got last year. I think most people would agree the Jays don't make the playoffs if that trade doesn't happen.
  14. 36,000 tonight. Great crowd for a April weekday even if its against the Yankees.
  15. His image from the casuals couldn't get any worse so might as well just do one more little thing haha
  16. Shapiro should ban the wave. Just the noise of it is annoying lol
  17. I think if Storen looked good he would have been out before that. Osuna has looked fantastic so far this season so no reason not to go to him.
  18. Yeah I'd go with Venditte then Osuna for Arod.
  19. Not a fan of bringing Stro back out for the 4th time through the order.
  20. So many Groundballs down the 3rd base line lol
  21. Venditte for Ellsbury and Gardiner than Osuna for the rest?
  22. Lol this board from the first half of this game to now is so bipolar. Funny to look through lol
