Well its not like he has a .600 BABIP or something crazy unsustainable. Even though Tulo and Martin have been better hitters in their careers I don't think anyone would want them to be hitting ahead of Pillar in the lineup right now.
Personally I like Pillar lower in the order since he's the best contact hitter on the team and he will get more opportunities to hit with guys on base in those situations but its not the most outrageous decision given what has happened so far this season.
