    I was assuming that 7 million was on a 5 year contract and would prevent the team from signing a 4 which the team needs pretty badly. Were those Ortg and Drtg numbers from NBA.com or Bball reference?

    His defence doesn't make up for his offence to be worth 10 million though. And with JV you aren't going to pay a backup C 7 million to play 16 minutes.

    Yeah I think later in the game he can go to the 4 seam a little more to give the batter a different look. Both Sanchez's off speed pitches have positive pitch scores above 3 by pitch/FX this year so I wouldn't call his changeup bad. I will say his changeup doesn't need to be a great pitch individually since all it has to do is play off his plus fastball.

    5 BBs +1HBP and 5 SO vs Lefties isn't encouraging either. With Cecil hurt the pen really needs someone other than Girado to get Lefties out.

    Yeah your'e probably right, Biyombo gets closer to 9-10 million which I want no part of. I'd still much rather have Pat as he's a better fit and IMO a better player. He never really blows you away with his numbers but he's a really smart player and spaces the floor pretty well as a stretch 4.

    He hasn't really made a big adjustment either. A few more cutters up and in to Lefties but he still doesn't throw his 4 seam. His breaking ball looks much better though both in movement and command.

    I'd rather have 2Pat. Its nice to see Biyombo playing well but I don't want to sign him for how much money he is going to get. With JV signed long term it doesn't really make sense to shell out 6-7 Million on a long term deal for a backup C when that money can be used elsewhere.

    He has played a bunch of different positions but looks to be pretty bad at all of them. Likely just a PH.

    He's still been dogshit vs LHH. I'd just say he's been good but its a big stretch to say he's been excellent.
